Defaming Hindus and Brahmins are two fundamental axioms that are the guiding principle for the intelligentsia that support DMK in the state of Tamil Nadu. Recently, the Lakhimpur Kheri incident became one more excuse for this brigade, to besmirch Brahmins and pass extremely derogatory statements against them.
Lakhimpur Kheri incident hijacked by Brahmin bashers in Tamil Nadu
As soon as the reports of the violence that erupted in Lakhimpur Kheri made national headlines, the whole Tamil media and their masters started to bash the Yogi Adityanath government. Chief Minister, MK Stalin demanded an impartial and high-level investigation into the matter and condemned the arrest of Congress leader Priyanka Vadra. “Opposition leaders including @priyankagandhi (Priyanka Gandhi Vadra), who tried to meet the farmers, are detained. They shall be freed and allowed to exercise their democratic rights,”-tweeted Stalin.
Meanwhile, a Member of Parliament from Tamil Nadu has openly termed Brahmins of UP as ‘rowdies’. The MP saw this as an opportunity to mock Brahmins because Ashish Mishra, the son of Minister Ajay Mishra and the main accused in the matter is a Brahmin by birth.

A television anchor and political analyst Sumanth Raman called Brahmin bashing is a regular affair in Tamil Nadu politics. Tamil Nadu-A ‘secular’ state which does not respect Brahmin minority
Right from the days of E.V Periyar (who openly called himself an atheist and mocked Brahmins on a regular basis) to today’s MK Stalin government (which relies on usurping Hindus’ religious freedom), history suggests that politicians have always relied on ridiculing Brahmins to garner political power in the state. In a country where minorities are provided special privileges, Brahmins (who constitute less than 3 percent of the state population) have been subject to systematic atrocities by Tamil political parties since the 1950s.

Social justice- A mask for Brahmin-bashing
The hate for Brahmins is masked by sophisticated semantics and is termed as social justice by various parties and their paid intellectuals. Even, the sacred right to worship is not allowed to Brahmins as the traditional enclaves of Brahmins have been named as inclusive living spaces after the governments usurped it.

The rise of many Brahmin leaders in the country should give an insight to the Brahmin-bashers about the glorious history of their role in the formation of this nation. India is one nation, and erasing the history of one community at the cost of others is ultimately going to put India’s unity in jeopardy.
