Mohandas Pai roasts left liberals for their hypocrisy on the Kerala nun rape case

left, liberals, Mohandas Pai

Remember the Kerala nun rape case? The entire nation stood shocked when a nun accused the Jalandhar bishop, Francis Franco Mulakkal, of sexually assaulting her. While the accused priest was arrested by the Kerala police, he was mysteriously let off, despite there being ample evidence incriminating him, and the prime witness was murdered before the court could officially ponder over the matter.

What was even more surprising, though not entirely unexpected, was the deathly silence of the left liberal intelligentsia, who otherwise had declared that the entire Sanatan community consisted of ‘rape supporters’ in the wake of the Kathua rape case. Now that the nuns, who stood in support of the victim, face possible eviction, not even one of them has tweeted regarding this issue, forget standing in support of the victim.

One tweet by the new Indian Twitter CEO gives away the fact that Twitter’s agenda remains unchanged

The sheer hypocrisy was rightly pointed out by ex Infosys stalwart, Mohandas Pai, as he posted the following tweet:-

Big shame! Why are the great ‘Liberals’ not responding? Are they #hinduphobic ? Is their vitriol and bias only reserved for Hindus ? @BDUTT @sagarikaghose @sardesairajdeep @ShekharGupta @republic @rahulkanwal @ndtv @Nidhi @soniandtv @SreenivasanJain https://t.co/dL0sjTZCgC

— Mohandas Pai (@TVMohandasPai) January 17, 2019

Through this tweet, he not only attacked the left liberals for their hypocritical silence, but also tagged the exact suspects, who had called the shots in the Kathua case. Be it Barkha Dutt, Nidhi Razdan, Rajdeep Sardesai or Sreenivasan Jain, Mohandas Pai spared none of note from the left liberal circle in his onslaught on Twitter. The very first response from this cabal wasn’t unexpected either.

In a dismissive tone, Sreenivasan Jain posted the following tweet, which clearly indicated his true allegiance, as shown below:-

Mohandas, stop tagging me with this nonsense. Or will have to block.

— Sreenivasan Jain (@SreenivasanJain) January 17, 2019

However, Mohandas Pai was no pushover. In a short thread, he retaliated to Sreenivasan’s tweet adopting the same tone, as he posted the following tweet:-

Go right ahead, we live in a free society! For somebody who labels & assigns blame to entire sections of our society freely, you have a real shallow tolerance for direct feedback! If pointing out your hypocrisy & bias is nonsense, you shd set higher standards yourself first. https://t.co/AAIJCCzxs7

— Mohandas Pai (@TVMohandasPai) January 17, 2019

Not only did he attack Sreenivasan for his brazen hypocrisy, he also schooled him on the very journalistic ethics that these left liberals love to flout when the victim is not from their preferred community.

Interestingly, Rajdeep Sardesai, who was tagged in the aforementioned tweet, replied in the affirmative to Mr. Mohandas Pai, as he posted the following tweet:-

Why bring in Hindu-phobia boss? The relevant Kerala church has behaved in a shameful manner, needs to be called out.. let’s stick to that. Vitriol ‘reserved’ for all religious bigots! https://t.co/tJjLT2NOvg

— Rajdeep Sardesai (@sardesairajdeep) January 17, 2019

However, it looks like someone was fiercely triggered by Mohandas Pai’s courageous attempt to take the left liberals head on. Notorious NDTV journalist Nidhi Razdan posted a rather arrogant tweet in reply to Rajdeep Sardesai:-

Rajdeep I don’t know why you even respond to him. He’s just turned into this sad attention seeking bigot

— Nidhi Razdan (@Nidhi) January 17, 2019

However, Mohandas Pai was far from finished. In a calm, but hard hitting thread, he attacked her for her arrogant tweets, as shown below:-

@Nidhi Let’s talk about facts. You are one of @ndtv’s most respected anchors. You are supposed to set standards for unbiased reporting & full spectrum coverage – like Pranoy. Instead, you’ve clearly become a captured mouthpiece and your personal opinions drive your coverage. https://t.co/j72ESFclwY

— Mohandas Pai (@TVMohandasPai) January 17, 2019

As shown in the thread, Mohandas went hammer and tongs after Nidhi Razdan for her arrogant tweet. He also attacked the entire left liberal cabal through his response for the brazen Hinduphobia that they peddle in the name of unbiased journalism.

Nidhi Razdan, however, was way too ‘enlightened’ to see through the sense in Mohandas Pai’s tweets. She posted another dismissive reply to him as shown below:-

Go give that advice to Republic and Times Now. I don’t care for your opinion. Have a nice day https://t.co/E0wsB8RVf5

— Nidhi Razdan (@Nidhi) January 17, 2019

The last tweet contains the left liberal cabal’s signature brand of arrogance and condescension. As long as they’re not questioned, left liberals are extremely liberal, open and full of integrity. The moment they are challenged and have to prove themselves right, they resort to hysteria, and behave arrogantly, as reflected by the statements of Nidhi and Sreenivasan.

It is this very arrogance that has alienated NDTV from its viewers and the continuous peddling of vicious leftist propaganda isn’t going to help gain their confidence. While Republic TV is maintaining a lead in terms of viewership, with approximately 1003 impressions, NDTV 24*7 has barely 151 impressions as of now. As such, these left liberals need to pull up their socks or they might be reduced to mere laughing stocks just the way Arvind Kejriwal has been reduced to the same in politics.
