A sensational revelation by India’s premier investigative agency— National Investigation Agency (NIA) has found that the US-based ‘Sikhs for Justice’ – a terrorist and pro-Khalistan organization has been propagating anti-India sentiments within the Sikh community serving in the Indian Army—egging them to engineer a mutiny against their own motherland. According to the NIA spokesperson, these remarks have been made after receiving dossiers provided by the probe agency, and other central agencies.
“The Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has been attempting to undermine the security of the Indian State by instigating Sikh personnel in the Indian army to rise in mutiny against India besides trying to radicalize youths of Kashmir and openly extending support for the secession of Kashmir from India,” the NIA said, according to news agency PTI.
The central investigation agency on Wednesday filed a charge sheet against 16 people based out of the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for allegedly being involved in seditious activities and fomenting enmity on the pretext of religion and region in India in a Delhi court.
The charge sheet enlists seven Khalistanis from the US – Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, Avtar Singh Pannun, Harpreet Singh, Amardeep Singh Purewal, Harjaap Singh, Sarabjit Singh, S Himmat Singh, six from UK – Gurpreet Singh Baagi, Paramjit Singh, Sarabjit Singh Bannur, Kulwant Singh Mothada, Dupinderjit Singh, Kulwant Singh and three from Canada – J S Dhaliwal, Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Jatinder Singh Grewal.
While Paramjit Singh is the United Kingdom-based Chief of the terrorist organization, “Babbar Khalsa International”, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is a USA-based key member of terrorist organization SFJ. Paramjit Singh was involved in petty crimes till 1992. However, in 1994, he went to Pakistan and started raising for BKI.
He was initially close to Wadhwa Singh and then joined the Khalistan Tiger Force and became close to Jagtar Singh Tara. He took charge of activities in Thailand. And from South East Asia he kept supporting terrorist activities in Punjab. In 2000, he took political asylum in the UK. In recent years he came close to Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Both Pannun and Pamma were active in Sikh Referendum 2020. Several of his videos are available on social media.
SJF had long been planning to hold ‘Referendum 2020’ to lay the groundwork for Khalistan. However, due to the Central Government’s pre-emptiness in accessing the danger of holding any such referendum, SFJ could never really make any headway.
Reported by TFI earlier, the Union Home Ministry, in July had announced that it had blocked 40 websites belonging to pro-Khalistan terror outfit Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), for supporting secessionist activities, under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) 1967. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) through its spokesperson had informed that the action has been taken after the banned outfit launched a campaign to register supporters for its cause—Referendum 2020.
Apparently, SFJ has the backing of Pakistan’s notorious ISI. The terror group had also written a letter against India to the Chinese President Xi Jinping in the wake of Galwan Valley showdown–condemning ‘Modi government’s violent aggression against China’ taking down several soldiers of China in Ladakh along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The terror outfit didn’t stop here and thanked the people of China for their encouraging and supporting response to SFJ’s call to hold a non-governmental referendum 2020 for the secession of Punjab from India.
The statements by NIA that SJF is trying to manufacture chaos amongst the Army ranks should be taken extremely seriously by the central authorities and efforts should be made to weed out any such elements that have infiltrated the ranks, and are trying to sabotage the sanctity of the Indian army. Thorough background checks are needed and if possible, those names should be made public so that the mainstream media which is dominated by the left can finally recognize the threat these Khalistan supporters pose.
The Khalistan movement has been Punjab’s Achilles heel for a long time and it is in the best interest of the state and the country that the Union Government swiftly nips any unlawful activities these aforementioned terror outfits try to commit.
Some nations engage in political asassination, some don’t. India is among the few powerful nations that does not do this. Great. But I think in SOME cases, like these SFJ snakes, it is good to make an exception and send hit squads to finish them off. Would it not have been far better to kill one Bhindranwale in 1980 than almost 100,000 innocent Indians die due to his poison later? Please GoI, consider this.
