‘Wanted to teach Hindus a lesson,’ Tahir Hussain confesses of masterminding Delhi Riots, met Umar Khalid for planning

The myth of 'peaceful' Shaheen Bagh protests has been busted

The northeast Delhi riots earlier this year were conceived and planned at Shaheen Bagh, which many closet-Islamists and their stooge-like liberal friends claim was a ‘peaceful’ demonstration against the Union government’s passing of the Citizenship Amendment Act. Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor, Tahir Hussain has now cracked before the Delhi Police’ Special Investigative Team (SIT), and has admitted that the riots were planned and executed by him and other members of his community.

Tahir Hussain has also reportedly admitted to having masterminded the entire riots, in order to teach ‘Hindus a lesson’. Hussain told the police that he wanted to do so using his money and political power. It must be remembered that Tahir Hussain was suspended by the AAP only after his role in orchestrating the riots to specifically target Hindus was revealed.

Of course, no matter how powerful and rich one may be, organising anti-Hindu riots in the national capital is impossible without equally motivated accomplices. However, there is no scarcity of those who are willing to die, to only see Hindus of India suffer. Such is the hatred which is harboured against Hindus by a section of people that they have no less than offered to willingly lay down their lives for ‘their community’ if need be. Tahir Hussain has admitted that he met former JNU student and Islamist– Umar Khalid on January 8, 2020 at the PFI office in Shaheen Bagh.

As per police officials, Tahir used support from Khalid Saifi, Umar Khalid, Ishrat Jahan and Popular Front of India (PFI) member Danish. Tahir reportedly told the police that he was aggrieved after the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Supreme Court ruling in the favour of Ram Temple in Ayodhya and Centre passing the Citizenship Amendment Act; and hence decided to take the extreme step.

Hussain has also told the police that soon after he was elected municipal councillor from Ward 59, Nehru Vihar in 2017, Khalid Saifi, founder of ‘United Against Hate’, told him that he should use his influence and money against the Hindus and for the betterment of Muslims.

The same Khalid Saifi is said to have facilitated a meeting between Umar Khalid and Tahir Hussain, where Umar pledges his support to the councillor’s cause of killing Hindus to teach the Modi government a lesson. Khalid Saifi also told Tahir that PFI member Danish will be providing all financial assistance needed in the ‘war against Hindus’. Further, Khalid also assured Tahir of funding from the Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC), some political people, advocates and Muslim organisations.

Tahir Hussain has also narrated how he planned the riots and made extravagant arrangement for the same. Prior to the commencement of the anti-Hindu riots, Tahir Hussain started collecting empty bottles of liquor and cold drinks from the trash, stones from construction sites and gathered it all on the roof of his house at Chand Bagh. He said he refuelled all of his four cars, the fuel of which was used in filling empty bottles that were used as petrol bombs during the riots. On the advice of Umar Khalid, Tahir also purchased large quantities of acid to target Hindus.

Everyone was given different tasks. “While Saifi had to gather mobs on the streets, I was asked to collect glass bottles, acid and petrol,” Hussain told his interrogators. Khalid Saifi also told Tahir Hussain in February that the plan of stoking communal violence against Hindus in Delhi should only be effectuated during US President Donald Trump’s visit to India.

The revelations made by the Delhi Police about Tahir Hussain admitting to have masterminded the northeast Delhi riots, in association with PFI and Jamia Coordination Committee, not to mention along with the organizers of the Shaheen Bagh road blockade, bust the myth of people ‘peacefully’ demonstrating their resistance to the passage of CAA, and proposed implementation of a nationwide NRC. Shaheen Bagh was the site where plans for anti-Hindu violence were conceived. For anybody to now support the protests would be insane, and it would not be an overstatement to suggest that all such individuals should be rounded up for having rioting tendencies. If such Islamists are let go scot-free, there is no stopping another genocide of Hindus from taking place across the country.
