Kanhaiya Kumar, the blue eyed boy of Indian left liberals, is once again in the news, and once again for all the wrong reasons. One of the fiercest self declared critics of PM Modi, Kanhaiya Kumar landed in trouble as his supporters were found assaulting protesters, who showed black flags to Kanhaiya’s convoy in Begusarai, from where the ex JNUSU President is contesting for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Recently Kanhaiya Kumar went on a road show in Sujanpur Koreya village, in a bid to promote his candidature for the Begusarai Loksabha constituency, where he is fighting against BJP stalwart and firebrand politician Giriraj Singh. During the roadshow, Kanhaiya Kumar’s convoy was stopped by the local villagers, who angrily demanded an explanation for his secessionist rants, including the notorious chants of ‘Bharat Tere Tukde Honge Inshallah’, ‘Ham Mange Azaadi, Kashmir ki Azaadi’ etc. This is not the first time Kanhaiya had to face the wrath of the common public in Begusarai though.
Not only did they demand an explanation, but also they showed black flags to Kanhaiya’s procession. At this moment Kanhaiya’s supporters lost their cool and started beating the protesters up with batons, leaving many injured. When the protesters tried to run towards their homes in order to protect themselves, Kanhaiya’s supporters ransacked their homes as well. Vikas Bhadoria, a correspondent reporter with ABP news, reported this hooliganism in the following tweet:-

Interestingly, Kanhaiya was watching all the proceedings from his car, and did not even once stop his supporters from committing such barbarity. It wasn’t until someone alerted the local police that the situation finally came under control. As of now, a police case has been registered in the Gadhpura police station, and investigations are underway.
Kanhaiya Kumar, arrested on the charges of promoting sedition in JNU with the infamous protests of February 2016, has been the darling of the left liberal intellectuals ever since he cried hoarse against the alleged high handedness of the PM Modi led NDA government. His vicious rants against the Indian armed forces, his track record as a known sexual offender within campus and the various other have been royally ignored in the bid to oust PM Modi from power.
The current attacks on the innocent protesters, however, exposed the extreme intolerance that the so called liberal, Kanhaiya Kumar and his supporters have for anybody who doesn’t subscribe to their ideals. It comes therefore as no surprise if people are being attacked for daring to protest against the absurd theatrics of the secessionist Kanhaiya Kumar. We only hope that the masses of Begusarai do not bow down before such hooliganism and teach Kanhaiya such a lesson in the elections that he shall not forget for the rest of his life.
