The fight to win 2019 Lok Sabha polls has just got more intense. With each passing day, every political party is sharpening their political weapons further in order to have a clear advantage over the other. The main fight between BJP and Congress is no less interesting, even though some may frown on the cheap tactics that the latter is using to discredit the former.
However, to the surprise of one and all, one man has already given up long before the elections officially close on 19 May. Controversial politician and current CM of Madhya Pradesh has ruled out the signs of Congress attaining a majority in any respect.
Predicting a hung parliament, Kamal Nath mentioned to the media, “Of course, we are going to do very, very well but I do not see us reaching a majority and there will have to be a post poll alliance and this post-poll alliance will throw up different types of combinations.”
On being questioned about the post-poll alliance, Kamal Nath further added, “If there is an alliance, the alliance will take decisions. There are today two types — one is anti-BJP and one is pro-BJP. The pro-BJP numbers are very small and for anti-BJP you see the entire political spectrum is against it. So, whatever numbers are thrown up (is to be seen). BJP is trying to think that they will ever be able to form a government (but that) is too farfetched. Because they will neither have numbers, nor will other political parties go with them.”
Kamal Nath also confirmed about who will be the PM of India should Congress win. To quote him, “Of course, if we have the numbers, Rahul Gandhi is the obvious PM. He has inspired the NYAY scheme, a revolutionary scheme which will lift five crore families out of poverty. We will do it simply because there are resources available. The question is apportioning resources.”
Yes, let that sink in. Before the Lok Sabha polls have even ended, Kamal Nath has already exposed the sinister reality of the Mahagathbandhan in the face. The fight was to never form a credible alternative for the current NDA government, but instead, oust PM Narendra Modi from power and bring back the scourge of coalition politics, which had almost destroyed India from 2004-2014.
It is no surprise that Congress is still in the hangover that the masses will fall for their lies, just like they did in 2004. However, they tend to forget that PM Modi and Amit Shah know their tactics inside out, and have proved them wrong consistently. Congress is definitely staring at a defeat in the ongoing 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
