The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has uncovered new evidence in the RG Kar’s rape and murder case of a trainee doctor in Kolkata, indicating the involvement of multiple individuals and some of the big names. It suggests that the murder of the trainee doctor from RG Kar Medical College may have been premeditated.
In a separate but related probe carried out by the CBI, revealed a big conspiracy related to the network of supplying sub-standard and spurious medicines to government hospitals implicating influential figures in financial corruption. The investigation suggests that politically powerful individuals may be behind this scheme.
Forensic examination of mobile phones belonging to former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandeep Ghosh and former Tala police officer Abhijit Mandal reveals that evidence belonging to rape and murder have been deleted by them, leading to suspicions of their possible involvement in concealing the crime.
On 9th of August, 2024, a 31 year old female doctor was brutally murdered at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. A man named, Sanjay Roy, a civic volunteer, was arrested after coming out of CCTV but it is suspected that Sanjay Roy is a mere scapegoat, there are big names being involved in the rape and murder of the female doctor. It is also anticipated that there is some hidden illegal activities that run at the hospital which the female doctor would have come across which led to her rape and murder.
RG Kar has had a dark history that points the same. In 2001, a fourth-year student Soumitra Biswas was found hanging in his hostel room. Although initially deemed a suicide, Soumitra’s family and friends raised doubts, prompting the Calcutta High Court to order a CID investigation. Allegations emerged of a pornography ring within the hostel, exploiting both sex workers and deceased bodies, which Soumitra reportedly tried to expose. The case till date remains unresolved, fueling suspicions of foul play.
The death of Poulami Saha in 2020 too points out the same. Poulami Saha was a 25-year-old second-year Post Graduate Trainee who committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the hospital, although no suicide note could be found. These cases point fingers in the same direction of some hidden truth at RG Kar which involves big names.
