Following this, there were rumors that Aamir Khan was taking a hiatus from Bollywood. However, according to recent media reports, Aamir Khan is gearing up to star in an action film in the near future, as revealed in an interview and cancel the retirement plan.
Aamir is on the lookout for a script that will allow him to showcase his skills in thrilling action sequences. Reports had surfaced last year that he would be featuring in the Spanish film “Campiones,” but Aamir later expressed a desire to take a break from it. It is now being said that he has approached Yash Raj Films and is reportedly in talks to join the famous spy universe through the “Dhoom” franchise.
As per a Koimoi report, Aamir Khan has become very particular about his next project, following the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan. Aamir had backed out from the Hindi remake of the Spanish film “Campeones” at the last minute. The actor cited his desire to spend more time with his family as the reason behind his decision to leave the film, and he is in no rush to make a comeback.
After the commercial failure of “Laal Singh Chadha,” Aamir Khan had decided to take a break from films. Recently, he stated, “When I am acting, I become so engrossed in the movie that nothing else seems to matter. After ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ I wanted to remake ‘Campeones.’ It’s an amazing script with a heartwarming and beautiful story. But I think I need to take a break and spend some time with my family.”

Surprisingly, Bhaisaab’s hiatus didn’t even last for half a year. However, this isn’t the first time he’s taken a break from acting. When he was at the pinnacle of his career, he took a break, but it resulted in the flop “Mangal Pandey: The Rising” in 2005, which is no secret.
After the debacle of “Thugs of Hindostan,” he took another break, but if it was known that he would bring a movie like “Laal Singh Chaddha,” he wouldn’t have had the opportunity to take a break in the first place.
The reason is that Aamir Khan had considered selling “Laal Singh Chaddha” to an OTT platform for 150 crore rupees, but he failed to do so. Netflix initially contemplated canceling the deal after the box office failure of “Laal Singh Chaddha.” However, in the end, Aamir Khan had to sell his film to Netflix for just 90 crore rupees.

Speaking of the multi-starrer film Thugs of Hindostan, which was made on a massive budget of around 300 crore rupees, it only managed to earn about 151 crore rupees. Similarly, Aamir Khan’s recent movie “Laal Singh Chaddha,” which had a budget of 180 crore rupees, only earned 58.73 crore rupees at the box office.
So, what does this have to do with Shahid Afridi? Well, Shahid’s track record is no different. He has faced failures, talked about retirement, and then made a comeback to try his luck again. Moreover, both of their anti-India behavior is well-known to everyone. In this context, Aamir Khan’s resilience indicates only one thing: he may be bruised, but he’s not defeated.
