Ab Ayega Mazaa, a 1984 film starring Shivpuri, was followed by In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones, a 1989 TV movie starring Shahrukh Khan. She went on to star in other art films, such as Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda and Mammo by Shyam Benegal, but her big break in the industry came with Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994).

Short biography and family of Himani Shivpuri
Shivpuri was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Her educational career is an exception as she did her early schooling at the all-boys boarding school where her father taught Hindi. The name of the school was The Doon School. Her father’s name is Dr. Haridutt Bhatt, a poet better known as Shailesh.
She participated actively in drama at Doon. While pursuing a doctorate degree in Organic Chemistry, she started a second career in theater. She performed as a supporting actress in Phir Wahi Talash.
She was married to Gyan Shivpuri but unfortunately, her husband died in 1995. He was a Kashmiri Pandit and the reason for his death is unknown. She has a son with her deceased husband. The name of her son is Katyayan Shivpuri.
