Avantika Vandanapu, also known as just Avantika, is an American actress and dancer who was born on January 24, 2005. In addition to advertising, she has worked in a number of Telugu-language Indian films. She acted in the Disney Channel Original Spin in 2021. In the comedic film SENIOR YEAR from Paramount and Netflix, she co-stars with Rebel Wilson. The Disney+ and Disney Channel premieres of the original film “Spin” feature Avantika as its breakout star.

Avantika Vandanapu was added to VARIETY’s “Up Next” list for the 2021 Power of Young Hollywood as a result of this achievement. The movie “SPIN” is about an Indian American kid who, while living with her extended family, discovers her artistic side through the fascinating world of DJ culture. She learns that she has a passion for making mixes that combine the sounds of her Indian ancestry with those of her surroundings.

She also makes frequent appearances on Gina Rodriguez’s ground-breaking Disney + series Diary of a Future President and lends her voice to the character Kamala in the Disney Channel series Mira, the Royal Detective.

Avantika spent three years working in the Indian entertainment industry prior to her experiences in Hollywood. Avantika is a dancer as well, performing in Indian classical, modern, and ballet (Kuchipudi and Kathak).

In 2015, Vandanapu made his Telugu film debut and was subsequently cast in two films.

In the February 2016 film Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha from 14 Reels Entertainment, she was chosen to play Chutki.

However, she was unable to finish the film because of schedule issues. In the movie Brahmotsavam, starring Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pranitha Subhash, which began filming on September 16, 2015, Vandanapu made his formal debut as a child artist.

Later, she made a cameo appearance in Manamantha by Chandra Shekhar Yeleti. She later agreed to work in Premam, a movie with Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Hassan in which she plays a younger Madonna Sebastia.
