Along with development works and zero-tolerance against crime, the Yogi government is also rejuvenating Vedas, Indian culture, and heritage in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Green Development works in UP

The Yogi led UP government is building several theme-based Parks in Noida. Dog Park in Sector 137, first of its kind for pets, Children’s Park in Sector 33, Vedvan Park in Sector 78 based on the teachings and knowledge of four Vedas, Waste to Wetland Park in Sector 91 and a proposed “World of Wonders” park which will be the city’s largest recreational park near the Mahamaya Flyover in Sector 94.

Ritu Maheswari, CEO Noida Authority has been taking several review meetings for the progress report of these theme parks. The CEO has set deadlines for these parks from March 30th for Children Park to around June 30th for Vedvan park. Currently, around 14 crores have been allotted for four theme-based parks.

The Vedvan Park

The Vedvan Park is under construction in Sector 78 which spreads around 12 acres in area. Walls of the park will have writings based on the four vedas i.e., Rigveda, Samaveda, Atharvaveda and Yajurveda. It will have seven zones named after seven rishis: Kashyap, Bhardwaj, Gautam, Atri, Vashisht, Vishwamitra and Agastya. The Sculptures of rishis will also be built in it.

Around 50,000 varieties of plants and 1,250 organic trees are planned to be included in the park, both medicinal and fruit-bearing, which are mentioned in the vedas. The park will bring the knowledge of vedas to the new generation in a fun and exciting way. Entry to the park will be free and the park is said to be close and cater for the residents of the area between Sector 74-79. It will also include an open gym, amphitheatre, and restaurant. In the evenings a laser show will also be organised in it.

Yogi’s other Dharmic Push

Yogi Adityanath has intentions of making Ayodhya the cultural capital like in the times of Shri Ram. He has inaugurated several development works in Ayodhya for the same, worth around 600+ crores. The Diwali at the Saryu river breaks the Guinness World Record of lighting oil lamps every year, to celebrate the victory of Good over Evil on that day. The naming of the Ayodhya Airport after Maryada Purshottam Shri Ram is a major push to revive the Indian Culture and Spiritualism which was earlier rejected as mere mythology.

He has also made a push to revive the scientific and one of the oldest languages i.e. Sanskrit. He has made it free for anyone to learn the Sanskrit language. The Sanskrit schools are being modernised. The UP government has started issuing government press releases in Sanskrit to popularise the language. He has started schemes and shelter houses for the protection of cows and himself is a Gau Sevak. He along with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat attended and popularised the award given to vedic students, teachers and schools in honour of late Ashok Singhal. The Bharatama Ashok Singhal Vedic Award is given every year now to promote Vedic literature.

It is great to see that the government is making a push to take India on the path of development both physical and spiritual. The Vedvan park is one of the many Dharmic works of the Yogi led government in UP and the knowledge of Vedas will be helpful for the new generation’s character development and will surely attach them to their civilizational roots and prosper with the enlightened knowledge of the Vedas.
