Online Registration process for Net banking or E- banking in SBI
Internet banking has now become easier for SBI customers and all that is required for them to do is register for the Internet banking service with the branch. Branch will provide the customer a Pre- Printed Kit (PPK) containing username and password for first login.
In case the customer cannot collect PPK in person, the bank will arrange to send a username through SMS and a mailer containing password to the customers’ registered address. PPK full form and meaning
The PPK or full form pre-printed kit contains a unique kit number that maps to users’ account number for bank reference. The kit number is printed on the kit user receives from the bank after applying for online banking. This serves as an authentication token or verification Id for the user. If the user tries to access data from the pre-printed kit (PPK) to log into SBI online banking, a prompt and alarming message will appear on the login page. It is used to activate and set up internet banking. PPK is a 14-digit number. This number cannot be used multiple times.
