Being a Left-infested institution, JNU was anyway ranked high on the violence quotient. Post the violence which broke out last Sunday, JNU has pretty much been the major talking point for a whole week now. Just when we thought that the institute had maxed out on its idiocy, it has now been revealed that the Leftists have gone ballistic, and are openly issuing Naxal-like threats to anyone who opposes their redundant and violent ideology, including senior professors.
In what is an exact mirroring of the Naxalite kangaroo courts, the JNU campus now has posters with photographs of ‘traitors’ and violent captions like “Nothing will be forgotten, Nothing will be forgiven.” These posters contain images of professors and students who refuse to toe the majoritarian leftist line at JNU and rather stand for what is right. An alumni of JNU, and Asst. Professor at Delhi University, Abhinav Prakash’s picture featured on one such poster, along with three other professors of JNU. Reacting to the same, Prakash tweeted:
Dear @JNUSUofficial kindly stop cheap theatrics. I know JNU left doesn’t like my dissent & challenge to their narrative but this is new low even by ur standards. This slandering & fake accusation by kangaroo court may force me to take legal action. Kindly inform those involved. pic.twitter.com/QjDQ7DD7KI

I request @DelhiPolice to plz take note of such posters threatening harm & inciting violence by fake accusations. Ask them to furnish proofs. Kindly take action in JNU against such elements. Those involved in the Shipra GBM must be questioned. @HMOIndia https://t.co/OZMGLgkdE9

The poster has a title “Traitors of JNU, Architects of Violence”. Prakash’s ‘role’ in the violence was amusingly described as “RSS troll, made recon videos to help masked goons run rampage inside Sabarmati”. The three other professors included on the hit-list were Tapan Bihari, Prakash Chandra Sahoo and Dhananjay Singh. All four of these, specifically Abhinav Prakash, have refused to oblige to the views of the Left which are shoved down the throats of all other students and faculty members. Abhinav Prakash has been a vocal critic of the Left-dominated JNUSU, and thus found a space in one of these posters which mimics a Naxalite kangaroo court.
The red corridor, specifically the rural areas therewith, are unfortunately under the Naxalite militancy. It is no secret that Naxals print similar posters and circulate them in their areas of influence, in order to catch hold of government informants, ‘traitors’ and anybody who they do not seem to like. Once nabbed, such individuals are made to face the kangaroo courts set up by Naxals, as though they are some sovereign institution. Ideologically inclined and sympathetic towards the Naxals, the Leftists of JNU are now resorting to the same tactics of their ideological godfathers.
Professors are not alone in being featured in such hideous posters. Students have even been declared ‘pariahs’ on these pieces of paper, the cost of which, in all likelihood, the taxpayer has paid for. Vikas Kumar Gautham, Meenakshi Khannal and M Krishnarao were featured on a poster published by the ‘Lohit hostel residents’. The poster read, “These goons have been found directly involved in in the attacks happened to our JNU. We regret and are ashamed that these people were part of our hostel. We declare them out of bounds from the premises of Lohit hostel.” Pray tell, who the hell are these ‘residents’ to declare anybody out of bounds? Are these braindead students living on sovereign territory?
Ordinary students including Dalits are being framed, socially boycotted and mentally harassed by the self proclaimed administration of the left leadership in JNU, much like in a "jantana adalat" of naxal infested forests. The situation at JNU has now deteriorated to the extent that open threats are being made to almost anybody against the JNUSU and their violent ideological extremism. The government can no longer afford to play soft with these goons. The term ‘Urban Naxals’ makes all the more sense today than it ever did.
