In a shocking video that has gone viral, AIMIM leader, Ghulam Mustafa has openly threatened to behead PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. The AIMIM is set to organise a massive rally in Lucknow to demand reservation for Muslims on November 29. In preparation for that rally, AIMIM workers are now campaigning in other cities. However, things turned awry after this video came out in the open and went viral. In this video, a leader from the Owaisi-led party can be seen giving a communally aggressive speech and ended up making shameful and intolerable remarks about PM Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanth.
The AIMIM leader Ghulam Mustafa suddenly changed the subject of his speech from reservations and brought up the issue of Ram temple. In a speech rife with communal hatred, he announced from the stage that the Indian Muslims will not tolerate Ram Mandir in place of Babri Masjid at any cost. He did not stop here and declared in a highly intimidating language that RSS, Shiv Sena, VHP, Bajrang Dal and Ram Sena will have no one to save them once a “force of Ali” came into picture. He also emphasised the importance of the Babri Masjid for the Muslims and then issued a clear and shocking threat to PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath.
Ghulam Mustafa also bragged about his past criminal record. He stated that cases have been registered against him in the past as well. He further stated that Assauddin Owaisi is the saviour of Muslims and is advocating for the welfare of the Muslim community in the parliament. The AIMIM leader also asked the Muslims to not worry about anything but to stand together with firm determination. In what seemed like another attempt by the communal leader to raise passions, he claimed that by 2050 Muslims will be equal in numerical strength to Hindus. One wonders why someone should bother about numerical strength in a secular country like India where minorities are never treated with any sort of inferiority. In fact, several of the political outfits generally leave no stone unturned in order to appease the minorities.
This is not for the first time that Ghulam Mustafa has come in spotlight for making such a speech. He has been sent to jail in the past as well for making hate speeches and issuing public threats. In the present context, the police has registered a case against him and proceeded to arrest him but the AIMIM-leader fled before the police could arrest him.
It is shocking how a leader belonging to a political party can issue such open threats to the prime minister and Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister. He has not only undermined these significant offices but has also insulted the democracy and the will of the people of this country. It is also shameful how the entire cabal, which goes hammer and tongs after any of the BJP’s workers who makes a slightly controversial statement in any corner of the country, has maintained a stunning silence on this issue. It seems that just before the 2019 polls, the pseudo-secular section of the Indian political spectrum is desperate as well as frustrated and that is why it has started resorting to insensitive personal comments about PM Modi which even include open and public threats.
