So after he invoked ire by meeting Congress President Rahul Gandhi amidst an unprecedented crackdown of right wing accounts on the social media site Twitter, Twitter co-founder and present chairman Jack Dorsey has been criticized left right and center for supporting a Brahmin bashing campaign, with himself carrying a signboard of ‘Smash Brahminical Patriarchy’.
However, it seems that Jack Dorsey’s campaign is just the tip of the iceberg. Going by the kind of ideology he supports, and the people his Indian deputies follow, a question looms large: Is being anti-Brahmin a prerequisite to join Twitter?
To begin with, have a look at this profile:-
Titled Ambedkar’s Caravan, this so called pro human page is actually a space for some of the most vitriolic tweets against the Brahmin community on Twitter. It doesn’t only spew hatred against the Brahmins, but also advocates violence against them, and are ironically supported by people like Dilip C Mandal, Barkha Dutt etc. Following are some of their enlightened tweets against the menace of Brahminism:-
Also stop using Hindu or Hinduism ….. It’s Brahmin and Brahmanism is the main culprit . https://t.co/PqhWUljZP8

Reasons to "Smash Brahminical Patriarchy" –
Because Brahminism is Terrorism!

Curiously, one of the followers is none other than Mahima Kaul, the policy and operations head of Twitter India. While we are no strangers to her affinity for the left oriented ideology, including the Congress Party, this is something that is not only bizarre, but extremely worrying. Is she not promoting vitriolic hatred against a specific community? Is she not backing racism against Brahmins?
On the other hand, notice some of their recent crackdowns on the Twitter accounts, especially the right wing ones. For an example, Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s account has been suspended without intimation or a logical reason. The list goes long with many right wing accounts getting suspended by Twitter.
Isn’t this an eerie coincidence, that most of these accounts were operated by people from the Brahmin community? As far as we know, social media operators should be anything but biased towards a certain ideology. But going by these actions, we can’t help but wonder if being anti-Brahmin is a sure shot green card for joining Twitter.
In case you’re confused as to what we’re talking about, we all are no strangers to how Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party created a systematic hatred against the Jewish community. This feeling of anti-Semitism is now being popularized once again, except that the victims are not Jews, but the Sanatani Brahmins, who are considered to be the bedrock of the Indian society. Following are some specimens of how such Brahminical hatred is freely allowed on a platform like Twitter:-
@amnesty, people working for you in India are happy violating human rights, right to religious freedom of those whom they don't agree with. Not just a random schmuck either, but "Manager, Business & Human Rights at Amnesty International." 😂https://t.co/kTxi6s9V5b pic.twitter.com/gDGMNuvCw1

Suggestion on 35 A. Let's remove it but ensure twitter brahmin hawks are first to go settle. & let's not waste state security on them

Sign @jack is holding says "Smash Brahminical Patriarchy". Venmous Hinduphobes use "Brahminical" as a code-word, rather like "Zionist" is sometimes a code for "Jew". Congrats to @jack for joining the hate-fest https://t.co/UQBPv4U2Ff @RajivMessage @subhashkak1 @davidfrawleyved

To be honest, even though this looks like a must have prerequisite in one’s resume for joining Twitter, this is not acceptable at all. By supporting such vicious thoughts and ideologies, Jack Dorsey and his Indian deputies are only further reducing their credibility amongst both the social media circle, as well as the masses.
As the world is waiting about the fate of Mark Zuckerberg, who looks all set to be evicted for his high handed attitude from his own Facebook, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Jack Dorsey or his Indian deputies are given the same treatment for such vitriol, for nothing lasts forever, not even tyranny.
