Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the Indian armed forces taught Pakistan a lesson for the dastardly terror attack in Pahalgam and ‘Operation Sindoor’ made the enemy nation kneel in just a matter of a few hours.

Addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Bikaner, PM Modi said, “Terrorists had tried to wipe out the sindoor of our sisters by killing their husbands, after segregating them on basis of religion and for this depraved act, they and their handlers as well as masters have been given a befitting response by our forces.”

“In response to the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, our forces flattened the terror bases across the border in just 22 minutes. Our forces destroyed and decimated nine big terror infrastructure in just 22 minutes,” PM Modi said, highlighting the efficacy and significance of ‘Operation Sindoor‘.

“The whole world has got to see what happens when Sindoor turns gunpowder,” he roared, while the crowd elicited loud cheers and chanted Modi-Modi.

PM Modi’s visit to Bikaner also revived memories of his 2019 public address in Churu, a town near India-Pakistan border, where he delivered his first address after the Balakot airstrikes, following the Pulwama terror attack.

Recalling his 2019 address, PM Modi said, “Five years ago, when the Indian Air Force carried out Balakot air strikes, my first public address was in a border region in Rajasthan.

When I came to Rajasthan after Air Force strikes across the border, I had said, “Saugandh mujhe mitti ki, main desh nahin mitne doonga, main desh nahin jhukne doonga.”

“Today, after Operation Sindoor – I am addressing my first public address in the border area in Bikaner, Rajasthan,” he said and added that India’s enemies will now be punished beyond their imagination.

Modi added that if Pakistan continues to foster terrorism, the rogue state will have to beg for every penny.

He mentioned that Pakistan attempted to target the Nal Air Force Station in Bikaner, but the Indian armed forces thwarted the attempt and delivered a powerful counter-strike by destroying Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan air base.

“When I came here from Delhi, I landed at Nal Air Force Station. Pakistan tried to target this airbase earlier but failed to even touch it. Just across the border, Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan air base is now in the ICU. No one knows when or if it will function again,” PM Modi declared, as crowds enthusiastically chanted “Modi-Modi” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”

He reiterated India’s firm stance against terrorism, saying there would be no talks or trade with Islamabad unless it relinquishes its illegal occupation of Kashmir.

“If there is to be any talk, it will be on PoK. If Pakistan continues to export terrorists, it will be left begging for every penny. It will not get a single drop of Indian water,” he said, asserting that “playing with the blood of Indians will cost Pakistan dearly.”

He said that the security forces avenged the April 22 terror attack in just 22 minutes by vapourising nine most infamous terror dens across the border in Pakistan as well as PoK, under Operation Sindoor. He said that Operation Sindoor is the new form of justice for terrorists and their patrons, and also unveiled a three-pronged formula for combating terror.

“If there is any terror attack on Indian territory, the enemy will be given a befitting response. Our armed forces will decide the target, timing and the mode of response,” PM Modi said.

“Second principle is that any atom bomb blackmail won’t unnerve India and the third is — terrorists and their masters as well as their patron governments will be judged with a single benchmark,” he said and added that Pakistan’s game of state and non-state actors will no longer work as a pretext for its open support to terror.

PM Modi, in a stern warning to patrons of terror, said that this is New Bharat and Operation Sindoor reflects the country’s new doctrine under which acts of terror will be treated and replied to.

“Those who went after our sisters and tried to wipe their sindoor, we have razed them to the ground. This is a new form of justice — ‘yeh Operation Sindoor hai’,” he said.

Highlighting the government’s fierce response to terror in the past decade, PM Modi said, “Earlier, we hit them inside their territory, but this time, we hit them on their heart.”

“Those who thought that India would be silent they are shuddering in fear. Those who boasted about their weapons are suffering under the debris,” he stated, highlighting how the enemy nation developed cold feet after escalating the conflict over Operation Sindoor.
