Expecting any sound, sophisticated and intellectual opinions from Pakistanis have always been hard and everyday the incapability is getting more comparable to the fielding performance the Pakistan’s Cricket Team displays. The religious Islamist lens of Pakistanis at looking at the world’s affairs has not been limited to the partition of India and the formation of Pakistan. Instead the lens has won against the test of time and continues to be worn with pride by the citizens who are suffering from the worst of the economic crisis and financial instability.

Fawad Ahmed Hussain Chaudhry, the politician from Pakistan, out of nowhere has jumped in and found out the reason behind the attack upon which the Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan suffered. For those unversed, uncouth politcian Fawad Chaudhry served as federal minister for Information and Broadcasting during Imran Khan’s tenure. He had the infamy of running like a sissy when he was caught by the Pakistani security forces as part of crackdown on PTI leadership and quickly announced a “break” from politics, quitting PTI to save himself.

Now, as expected, Chaudhry brought along with himself the same age old propaganda of Muslim victim card. The Pakistani leader wrote a tweet where he claimed that Saif Ali Khan was attacked because of him being a Muslim. He also alleged that the muslim actors living in India are facing serious life threats ever since the rise of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’.

“Saif Ali Khan hospitalised: Actor stabbed six times by intruder… Muslim actors are facing serious life threats since the rise of Hindu Mahasabha …. Pakistan must rise for the rights of Indian Muslims”, he tweeted.

— Ch Fawad Hussain (@fawadchaudhry) January 16, 2025

Repeating his broken ‘Muslim victimhood’ takerecorder, Fawad Chaudhry doubled down saying, “SRK threatened Salman Khan targeted more than once and now Saif Ali khan stabbed , Mumbai is not safe for Muslim superstars…..”

Taking falsehoods to another level, an X user, even did his own investigation, based on which, he alleged that the unknown attacker was an RSS man. The only thing remaining in the prepostrous post was the presence of Congress leader Digvijay Singh alongside him, to release the second edition of RSS ki Sajish, Saffron terror boggie.

Apart from Pakistanis, Islamists sitting in India has also peddled baseless and brazenly communal falsehoods alleging that the Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan, suffered a brutal attack, because of his Muslim identity. Driven by communal agenda, AIMIM party leader Waris Pathan too alleged the same citing past incidences of attacks on Baba Siddiqui, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Giving the stray incidences a communal colour, he said that the victim’s name has Khan, Khan, Khan, in a clear attempt to peddle the boogie of Muslim victimhood.

An X user named Shahidur Rahman Khan ranted, “Saffron colour scarf is belonging to Indian extremist Hindu gangs. Is it main reason… Saif Ali Khan is Muslim & married Hindu Karina. Modi’s extreme communal hatred politics has been spreading dangerous poison in society”.

— Shahidur Rahman Khan (@DamalaChel85327) January 16, 2025

It is important to note that the Police is currently investigating the case and initial reports indicate that theft could be one of the motive behind the brutal attack on Saif Ali Khan. Contrary to the Islamist propaganda, the entire state government and country’s administration is ensuring the safe recovery of Khan, whom the country made a renowned face and an actor, which should by itself have been a resounding slap to Pakistanis and their Islamist lackeys in India.

Now, ironically, while the Islamists are trying to paint it as a communal incident and an attack on Muslim, Mumbai police have now confirmed that the suspect is a carpenter named Waris Ali Salmani. He had worked at Saif Ali Khan’s flat two days before the stabbing incident, an official said on Friday. He was taken to the Bandra police station for questioning after he resembled the intruder.

Moreover, the intentions behind the attack remains unclear but DCP Dixit Gedam who is leading the investigation has revealed that the incident appears to have been a robbery attempt. Saif Ali Khan’s maid too narrates the same reason behind the assault. However, expecting sensible discourse from a Pakistani politician may be unrealistic, given that, since Independence, minority Hindus in their country have faced severe persecution and the extent of Islamic radicalisation is all pervasive.

Also, it is somewhat difficult to understand why he mentioned the Hindu Mahasabha in his tweet, given that the organization, once a prominent political party before Partition, has since lost its influence in electoral politics. But the tweet coming from a Pakistani politician Fawad Chaudhary makes it abundantly clear.

Attack on Actor Saif Ali Khan in his residence

The Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was brutally attacked in his 11th-floor Bandra apartment during the early hours of January 16. Mumbai Police is investigating the attack and a suspect has been detained and brought to the Bandra police station whose name appears to be a history sheeter named Shahid according to multiple media reports.

The incident unfolded at approximately 2:30 a.m. when an intruder entered Khan’s residence using the fire escape staircase. The assailant confronted the actor’s maid and demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. According to the maid’s statement, the attacker was armed with a hexa blade and a wooden object. When Saif Ali Khan attempted to intervene, the situation escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in the actor sustaining severe stab wounds.

Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. Doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch-long blade lodged in his thoracic spinal cord and repaired damage caused by leaking spinal fluid. While his condition is stable, the actor remains in the ICU under close medical supervision.

PS: The article has been updated following Mumbai Police’s confirmation about the identity of the suspect, he is a carpenter named Waris Ali Salmani. Earlier media reports claimed that the suspect was identified as Shahid.
