Zubair’s fake news empire crumbles worldwide
Share on FacebookShare on X

Mohammad Zubair needs no introduction. Mohammad Zubair is the self-proclaimed guardian of free speech, the ringmaster of the fake news circus propagated by Alt News. Now, he’s no stranger to controversy, but this time, he’s managed to outdo himself.

You see, Mohammad Zubair has made a name for himself by putting people in danger, all in the name of “fact-checking.” But his recent escapades have earned him a spanking on a global scale.  The kingpin of fake news got a taste of Mohammad Zubair own medicine, and it wasn’t just a slap on the wrist.

What’s got everyone riled up, you ask? Well, it’s his audacious attempt to justify the atrocities committed by Hamas in Israel. He’s been trying to pull a rabbit out of his hat in the form of ludicrous claims, all in the name of so-called fact-checking. But the world isn’t buying it, and they’re letting him know it.

Even the Israeli administration is taking notice of Zubair’s wild claims. When you manage to get the attention of a whole nation by peddling dubious narratives, you know you’ve stepped into a minefield of controversy.

This is the same blast which Hamas Toilet cleaner blamed on Israel without even knowing actual site of the attack. https://t.co/z8JCL6kslb pic.twitter.com/4ipHtFm5FL

As we’re about to dive deep into the bizarre world of Mohammad Zubair once again. It’s a rollercoaster ride of audacious claims, global backlash, and a whole lot of head-scratching. Get ready for a wild journey through the tumultuous terrain of fake news and fact-checking gone haywire.

“Enough is Enough!”

Mohammad Zubair, our favorite fact-checker-turned-fiction-weaver, has really outdone himself this time! So, what’s Zubair been up to, you ask? Well, buckle up, because this is a wild ride of fact-checking gone awry.

Also read: Venkatesh Prasad dismisses Mohammad Zubair with a single tweet!

First on the list of Zubair’s adversaries is investigative journalist Amy Mek, who didn’t hold back in giving him a piece of her mind. She accused Zubair of trying to throw her “under the bus” for daring to expose Hamas propaganda. In her own words, she called him out on Twitter: “There seems to be a guy named Mohammad Zubair who operates a left-wing disinformation site called Alt News. He is attempting to smear me and other conservatives for exposing Hamas’ propaganda. Is this the same antisemitic/Hinduphobic individual who targeted Nupur Sharma and endangered her life?”

ALERT: To my followers in India…

There seems to be a Jihadi named Mohammad Zubair who operates a left-wing disinformation site called Alt News. He is attempting to smear me and other conservatives for exposing Hamas' propaganda.

Is this the same antisemitic/hinduphobic…

— Amy Mek (@AmyMek) October 16, 2023

Not only is Mohammad Zubair openly mocking the tragic deaths of innocent Israelis, but he’s also going to great lengths to defend the indefensible atrocities committed by Hamas. He’s even gone so far as to suggest that the images of the deceased, as released by the Israelis, are nothing but a ruse, a cleverly concocted illusion.

Enter Kobbi Shoshani, the Consul General of Israel to India. He didn’t mince words either, taking Zubair to the cleaners with a blunt retort. Shoshani dropped the mic with his reply: “Dear Zubair, Stop spreading fake news & hatred about Israel. If you REALLY consider yourself a fact-checker, go to Israel.” That really hurts!

Mr. @zoo_bear
Stop spreading fake news & hatred about Israel.

— Kobbi Shoshani 🇮🇱 (@KobbiShoshani) October 16, 2023

Now, will Zubair pack his bags and head to Israel to fact-check from Ground Zero? I seriously doubt that! He’s got quite a cozy spot in the Khan Market cartel, and that’s a far cry from being on the ground where real news happens.

In the world of fact-checking, you’d expect accuracy, reliability, and maybe just a smidgen of common sense. But here we have Zubair, dancing on the razor’s edge of credibility, doing a high-wire act without a safety net. It’s a sight to behold, really, as he juggles accusations of bias, falsehoods, and taking sides in a conflict that’s more complex than a Rubik’s Cube.

Mohammad Zubair is one thick skinned fake news kingpin!

Oh, Mohammad Zubair, the guy with a skin as thick as a rhino’s, is at it again! But far from showing an ounce of remorse for his escapades, he’s doing what he does best: playing the victim card with a poker face that would make even Dhruv Rathee blush.

He’s gone and accused the Israeli administration of having it out for him, and he’s got the gall to mock anyone who calls him out on his shenanigans. Case in point: a geopolitical analyst on Twitter based in Saudi Arabia, Zahack Tanvir, who saw right through his game. He laid it bare, pointing out that Zubair is cherry-picking his sources to peddle his fake narrative against Israel.

Also read: Zubair is a ‘journalist’, but Manish Kashyap is a hate monger

But did Zubair own up to it? Nah, he tried to fire back with a feeble retort, boasting about his association with AIMIM. That’s when Tanvir decided to go all in, without holding back one bit. He called Zubair’s bluff and exposed his antics in a single tweet, saying, “Yeah, not everybody is a charlatan like you, Mohammad Zubair, whose posts are written and sponsored by a group of radical leftists and communists. So what? Yeah, ‘once’ ‘campaigned for AIMIM in Hyderabad’ and also published the Leftist narrative against the Indian Govt. A lot of my friends and relatives are die-hard fans of Owaisis. So?”

Yeah, not everybody is charlatan like you #MohammedZubair whose posts are written and sponsored by a group of radical leftists and communists.

So what? Yeah, “once” “Campaigned for AIMIM in Hyderabad”, and also published the Leftist narrative against the Indian Govt. A lot of… https://t.co/H9W9rWEhLM

— Zahack Tanvir – ضحاك تنوير (@zahacktanvir) October 15, 2023

But Zahack Tanvir wasn’t done yet. He served up a second helping of truth with a side of snark, adding, “Btw, it’s not easy to go against the tide. Unless you have sponsors to fund some fact-checking business!”

Now, if it weren’t for CJI Chandrachud’s stubborn decision to let him off the hook, despite a mountain of evidence against him, Zubair might’ve been trading in his keyboard for a prison cell. But here he is, strolling around scot-free, only to be the target of global ridicule for his far-fetched claims.

Zubair is undoubtedly a menace, but he’s not the invincible superhero he seems to think he is. The recent global roasting he’s received has shown us that even the thickest-skinned folks can’t dodge the truth forever.
