In a recent address at the National Sindhi Convention in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made headlines by emphasizing the concept of “Akhand Bharat” and its potential implications. His remarks have sparked discussions and reflections on historical events and the suffering endured by various communities during the partition of India in 1947.
However, this was only the beginning, as Yogi further mentioned that if the disputed land of Ram Janmabhoomi could be reclaimed after 500 years, there was no reason why India could not aspire to reclaim Sindhu, a region now part of Pakistan. He emphasized the resilience of the Indian spirit and its ability to rectify historical injustices.

“If Ram Janmabhoomi can be taken back after 500 years, then there is no reason why we cannot take back Sindhu,” Yogi Adityanath declared.
Highlighting the Sindhi community’s struggles and sacrifices during the partition of India in 1947, Adityanath pointed out that they had suffered immensely. He urged the Sindhi community to pass on their historical experiences and the pain of partition to the present generation. He also attributed the partition of the country to the stubbornness of a single individual.
“When the partition of the country took place, lakhs of people were massacred, and a significant portion of India became Pakistan. The Sindhi community suffered the most, having to leave their motherland. Even today, we bear the brunt of the tragedy of partition in the form of terrorism,” the Chief Minister emphasized.
Adityanath’s speech resonated with a message of unity and resilience in the face of adversity. He asserted, “No civilized society can ever recognize terrorism, extremism, or any kind of anarchy.” His words underscored the importance of maintaining a peaceful and harmonious coexistence among diverse communities within the nation.

Both geographically and culturally, Sindh has been an essential part of Bharatiya culture. However, the Partition ruined it all. Despite multiple protests, Sindh was forcefully incorporated into Pakistan, just like Lahore was included into Pakistan by arm twisting.
