In a shocking turn of events that has sent ripples of anticipation through the entertainment industry, the acclaimed filmmaker Hansal Mehta has taken the world by storm with his recent announcement of the fourth instalment of the infamous “SCAM” franchise. And this time, it’s the scandalous BYJUs scam that will be thrust under the spotlight, exposing the dark underbelly of the ed tech business like never before. With his uncanny ability to unravel tales of deceit, Mehta has once again chosen a subject that has left many scratching their heads in disbelief and eagerly awaiting his latest cinematic masterpiece.

Not every day do you see a creator booking his next project in advance and announcing it publicly, but Hansal Mehta is not your everyday filmmaker. While the second edition of “SCAM” is still eagerly awaited by fans and scheduled for release in September, Mehta has already set his sights on the notorious BYJUs scam for his next groundbreaking exposé. It’s a testament to his foresight and determination to shed light on the dark corners of society that often go unnoticed.

In a brilliant stroke of brilliance, Mehta resurrected a tweet from two years ago, originally shared on Twitter, to offer a tantalizing glimpse into his future project. In a concise yet enigmatic manner, he boldly stated, “There, I said it 2 years ago. Scam S4: The BYJUs Scam.” With this clever move, Mehta effectively piqued the curiosity of the public, leaving them hungry for more details and eager to witness the unveiling of yet another gripping tale of deception and fraud.

The tip of the iceberg

But that was merely the tip of the iceberg. Mehta, never one to shy away from expressing his opinions and experiences, shared a personal encounter with BYJUs that shed light on their questionable practices. During the pandemic, when schools were closed and learning shifted online, BYJUs attempted to sell unnecessary programs to Mehta’s daughter. However, he refused to succumb to their deceitful tactics and drove them out of his house. Little did he know that his defiance would ignite a firestorm of controversy, with online trolls attacking him for daring to question the legitimacy of BYJUs’ rags-to-riches narrative. The abuse became so intense that Mehta was compelled to delete his tweets, but his resolve remained unshaken.

I’d called out Byjus when they came to my house trying to sell programs that my daughter did not need during the pandemic. They tried to convince her that she was poor academically in order to make an extra buck. I had to drive them out of my house. I was trolled for mocking the…

As the house of cards built by BYJUs begins to crumble, Mehta seizes the moment to remind society that not all rags-to-riches stories are woven from threads of honesty and integrity. He courageously highlights the importance of questioning the narratives peddled by seemingly successful companies and exposes the dark side of ambition and greed. In doing so, Mehta invites us all to reflect on the implications of blindly accepting the tales of extraordinary success without scrutiny.

For those unfamiliar with BYJUs, they have garnered a notorious reputation for their dubious practices, duping countless individuals in the name of ed tech. One such unfortunate victim found themselves trapped in the clutches of BYJUs, attempting to cancel a course but met with relentless harassment from the company’s customer care representatives. Their pleas for resolution fell on deaf ears, as BYJUs appeared more interested in squeezing every penny from their desperate customers.

The great downfall of BYJUs

Once valued at a staggering $22 billion in October 2022, BYJUs has since experienced a jaw-dropping decline in its market value, plummeting to a meager $5.1 billion. The question on everyone’s lips is, what led to this precipitous downfall? Could it be attributed to their vindictive campaign against those who dared to expose their shenanigans, including their own lenders? The BYJUs empire, once hailed as India’s highest-valued startup, now teeters on the brink of ruin, leaving a trail of disillusionment and questions in its wake.

With the stage set for the fourth instalment of the SCAM franchise, the world awaits with bated breath for Mehta’s masterful storytelling and hard-hitting revelations. The BYJUs scam is about to be dissected, revealing the truth behind the ed tech giant’s manipulative practices and exposing the cracks in their façade. Brace yourselves for another gripping tale of deceit, manipulation, and the gradual unravelling of an empire built on shifting sands.

As Hansal Mehta continues to disrupt the narrative, challenging the notion of rags-to-riches stories, one thing is certain: when it comes to exposing scams and holding those responsible accountable, he stands as an undisputed master. So, stay tuned for “SCAM S4: The BYJUs Scam,” a rollercoaster ride through the darkest corners of the ed tech world, where ambitions clash with ethics, and the pursuit of wealth often leaves victims in its wake.
