Now such an amount cannot come straight from the heaven, a hole must have been burnt in the pocket of the British taxpayers. Likewise, for the public holiday on the 8th of May, an additional amount of 1.36 billion pounds have been splurged. This, when the British administration had claimed that the current coronation would be one of the most simplistic, as well as the least extravagant of the coronations known in the British history.

Long story short, UK is in serious trouble. This is a serious matter for a country, which still hasnât been able to recover from the menace of COVID 19 economically. UK is the only G 7 who continues to struggle with economic growth even today. In terms of cost of living, the country is facing one of its biggest crisis till date, with even rations at a premium.
