Karol Bagh Hanuman Mandir – Guide
Karol Bagh Hanuman Mandir, also known as Sankat Mochan Dham, is located very close to the Jhandewala Metro Station along the Metro Blue Line of Delhi. The entrance to the temple is through the open mouth of a demon, which represents a dying demon. It reflects the glory of Lord Hanuman who killed many demons in his life, and served Lord Rama. There is also a shrine dedicated to Goddess Kali located at the base of the idol near the foot of the idol.
History of this Temple
The construction of Karol Bagh Hanuman Mandir started in 1994 and took around 13 years to complete the project. The temple is an amazing piece of art, engineering and technology. The height of the temple is 108 feet which has a cave similar to Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu and Kashmir. This cave also has a holy body in the form of Pindi and a holy flow of water in the form of river Ganga. A special feature of this temple is that the sacred flame that burns the temple was brought by Babaji from Jwalaji Mandir, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, on 30 September 2006 and has been burning continuously since then.

Karol Bagh Hanuman Mandir opens at 5:00 AM in the morning and close at 10:00 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 5:30 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 9:00 PM in the evening.
