Pakistan civil war is on the horizon, faster than we anticipated

As someone sitting in India, all we can do is advise Imran Khan to "Aapne ghabrana nahi hai."

Civil war pakistan: One thing that all Pakistani citizens would agree on is that Imran Khan has been more active since his ouster from the office of Prime Minister than when he was the incumbent. Hey! Let us not mock him for this, as his attitude is a sign of a healthy democracy. Although it is a different thing altogether that the country he comes from is the worst example of a democracy. Now he is targeted by the Shehbaz government. The same government that has ministers like Bilawal Bhutto.

Well! Sitting in India, we can only advise Imran Khan that “Aapne ghabrana nahi hai.”

Imran Khan’s fear moment

In a tweet from his official Twitter handle, Imran Khan posted a video message for his faithful. He lamented that the police were outside his house to arrest him. And people need to leave their homes to fight the oppression. Imran Khan further said, “Imran Khan ko allah sab kuch de chuka hai, mai ye aapki jung lad raha hoon.” Allah has given Imran Khan everything, and I am fighting for your cause.

— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) March 14, 2023

He was actually begging people to come outside their houses, otherwise the police may take him to Liaqat Bagh. No! Do not think for a second that he will be taken to any amusement park and that he is asking people to join him; instead, Liaqat Bagh is the same place where modern public crucifixion takes place. Yes! You get it right. This is the same place where the first Prime Minister of Pakistan, Liaqat Ali Khan, and Benazir Bhutto were assassinated. You may claim that this is a dark joke, but I would humbly remind you that this is the hard-core reality of Pakistan.

Tehreek-e-Insaf calls May Day!

But Imran Khan was not the only one to call May Day! May day!. Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, also tweeted along similar lines. The tweet stated, Open firing by Rangers and Police. Zaman Park is under extreme attack! Everyone must reach asap!

Hundreds of his supporters came outside his residence at Zaman Park. This caused chaotic scenes on the streets of Lahore. Now, this has nothing to do with WHO declaring Lahore the most polluted city in the world. Imran Khan further accused the government of scripting a ‘London Plan’. The real Pathan also invited people to be ready to come again; he assured them that they would again be welcomed with tear gas and water cannons, so they must not miss the event.

The experts are saying that the future of Pakistan is in the doldrums. However, they must be asked, “When was it not? Although I accept one thing, civil war is inevitable in Pakistan. And Pakistan is moving towards it at an unprecedented pace.

IMF’s “carrot and stick” policy

Apparently, Imran Khan is not the only reason for the civil war in Pakistan. I mean, he is not the only problem that Pakistan is facing. Another problem is the financial crisis. Pakistan is looking for a bailout package from the IMF.

The IMF, on the other hand, is reluctant to support Pakistan. They are using the policy of “carrot and stick.’ It’s like a mosquito buzzing in your ear, asking for a loan. But the lender’s like a mosquito racket, ignoring the pest and enjoying a peaceful summer evening.

Well, if we’ve learned anything from Pakistan’s current situation, it’s that sometimes life can be a real circus. It’s like a never-ending rollercoaster ride with ups and downs, twists and turns, and a whole lot of chaos. But hey, at least they’re keeping us entertained, right? Who needs a reality TV show when you can just tune into the news coming out of Pakistan? Here’s hoping they can navigate their way through these challenging times and come out stronger and more united on the other side.
