It’s delightful to watch left liberal cabal talking about Vande Bharat
Share on FacebookShare on X

Political discourse is fast degrading in the country. Earlier, parties had clear ideological rationale for raising issues of common people and cornering the government of the day. But, off late, senseless hue and cry, like whether the National Emblem atop the new Parliament building should look ferocious or not, have completely taken over real issues of the public. In cynicism with the Modi government, political parties and leftist cabals don’t refrain from crossing red lines meant for responsible opposition.

Vande Bharat Trains: Epitome of India’s self-reliance

The shameful degradation in Politics is quite evident in the smear campaign against Vande Bharat trains. Evidently, the recent technical snags and two encounters of Vande Bharat trains with animals have been exploited by the left liberal cabal to paint a negative picture around the indigenous trains. The mishap is being presented as if the entire gamut of ‘Make in India’ trains are a failure.

It all began when a Vande Bharat train met with an accident with a herd of buffaloes. The high impact collision damaged the front part of the engine.

Soon, a slurry of tweets started to follow, taking pot shots at the indigenous train. By highlighting and exaggerating the mishap, the lobby trivialised the giant leap India has taken in manufacturing these indigenous trains.

Speed and Progress

True to its identity, the damaged Vande Bharat trains were repaired within a day and started functioning as normal. It showed the resilience and speedy progress of the nation and gave a tight slap to its naysayers. The ignorant and misguided folks, misdirected their opposition. First of all, locomotives are designed in such a way so as to dissipate the energy of collision through deformation and not let the impact pass to the travellers which could be catastrophic. So, the frontal damage of a locomotive due to a high impact collision doesn’t mean a failure of the Make in India trains.

Secondly, they forgot that the Modi government has drastically reformed the Indian Railways. There is a long list of positive work including the following key measures.

  1. Elimination of unmanned level crossings on the Indian Railway Broad Gauge network.
  2. Indian Railways was notorious for train delays but it is racing fast towards Punctuality and somewhat has been gaining success in it.
  3. Railways earlier suffered rapid malfunctions and collisions, derailing. All of these have been cut down to a minimum or completely eliminated. Kavach – The indigenous anti-collision technology is an eminent example of infrastructural reform in the Indian Railways.
  4. High speed trains like Vande Bharat to improve logistics and connectivity.
  5. Building more than 3,000 km of safety fence to guard people and prevent accidents.

Also Read: Rahul Gandhi at Sonia’s feet: Liberals’ hypocrisy at its best

Apart from the ill-informed opposition of Vande Bharat trains, they forget that the root cause of accidents is not failure of Vande Bharat trains rather of stray cattles and fencing which the government of India has been undertaking at a rapid pace all across the nation.

The cynicism and smear campaign against Vande Bharat trains seems to be emanating from the fact that the high-speed indigenous trains have become a symbol of India’s growing might in the manufacturing sector especially in locomotives. So, anti-India forces are cherry picking and exploiting the technical snags to hinder the progress of the nation.

Opposition and left liberal cabal fail to understand the difference between a leader/aware citizen and a rogue politician. Unlike rogue politicians or anti-India forces, leaders/citizens, even in opposition or naysayers of government, respect the boundaries of national sovereignty and integrity. In opposing the government, they don’t harm the interest of the nation.

So, the left liberal cabals should realise that speaking ill of India’s premium developments and finding faults in our progress, they are only exposing their sinister plans against the development of India. The nation has jumped on the high-speed train of progress and minor hiccups will not deter its future ambitions.
