Vishal Bharadwaj, a well established name in the Hindi film industry, has many credits to his name. While his craft is loved by all, there is a hidden face behind the successful filmmaker of whom probably none of us are aware about.
Behind the National Award winner artist, there exists a propagandist who, through his films, has left no stone unturned in injecting the left-liberal agenda into the public.

Vishal Bharadwaj, a man who dons many feathers in his cap, has recently turned 57. Bharadwaj is a successful filmmaker, producer, music director, lyricist and a writer.

Born in Bijnor, Bharadwaj enjoys a lineage in the cinema industry. While his father, Ram Bharadwaj, was a sugarcane inspector, he also wrote poetry and lyrics for Hindi films. Following in his father’s footsteps, Vishal Bharadwaj too stepped into the Hindi Film Industry. He debuted as a music composer in 1995 with films Abhay and Fauji.
However, the music composer in Vishal rose to prominence with Gulzar’s Maachis, for which he won Filmfare RD Burman Award. His music in films like Kaminey, Ishqiya, Sonchiraiya brought him several accolades. His career as a screenwriter began with Makdee in 2002.
Bharadwaj’s Films have a deep imbibed Propaganda
Vishal Bharadwaj became the darling of the masses with his films like Chachi 420, Satya and 7 Khoon Maaf. The director in Vishal Bharadwaj took it upon himself to present the work of William Shakespear to the Indian audience.
Bharadwaj has contributed to the Hindi Film industry with his ‘Shakespearean trilogy’, with adaptations of Macbeth in the form of ‘Maqbool’, Othello as ‘Omkara’ and Hamlet as ‘Haider’. While the earlier two films gained him critical praises, Haider exposed the propagandist behind the veiled film-maker.

Bharadwaj is not like the ‘liberals’
While Haider received 5 national awards and gathered praises from the critics, the audience loathed the film. Haider was called out by the Indian audiences for being anti-Hindu and showing the Indian Army in the wrong light. The film drew ire for filming the song Bismil in the 7th century Martand Sun Temple situated in Awantipora and calling it Shaitan ki Gufa.
The film not only exposed Vishal Bharadwaj’s Leftist agenda but also unveiled his hypocrisy. As, after completely brushing the issue of Kashmiri Pandits under the carpet, he dedicated the awards to the cause of Kashmiri Pandits.
The flag bearers of the left liberal cabal in the film industry like Anurag Kashyap, Tapsee Pannu, and Anubhav Sinha, who roam around with the leftist flag, have already been identified by the audience and their agenda lies exposed. No one can peddle the leftist agenda for a very long time. Especially in the era of social media that has in turn made the audience dynamic. This is the reason why Bharadwaj, while being phenomenally good at his craft, having Matroo ki Bijlii ka Mandola in the pocket, is delivering back to back flops, be it Rangoon or Pataakha.
