A person tends to humiliate those whom they cannot defeat. The frustration becomes evident in their actions when they resort to cheap tactics to counter the opposite party. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is no different. He is frustrated as he has realised that the saffron party is unstoppable, and he is soon going to lose his political power. While it is necessary to sympathise with such a person, it is also needed that his ego is not pampered. Thus, BJP has now smashed KCR’s ego to smithereens.
KCR breaks protocol for the third time
In what can be seen as an egoistic approach, KCR did not receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport. PM Modi, reportedly, will be in the city to participate in the two-day-long Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive meeting.
However, he received opposition’s presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha at the Begumpet Airport, who arrived only a couple of hours before PM Modi. Notably, KCR has extended his support to Sinha for the upcoming presidential polls, which is to be held on July 18.

It is pertinent to note that this is for the third time in six months that CM KCR is not receiving the Prime Minister as per the protocol. Earlier as reported by TFI, in May this year, when PM Modi arrived in Hyderabad to celebrate 20 years of Indian School of Business (ISB) in the city, CM KCR thought it a prudent decision to fly out to Bengaluru to meet former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, his son, and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy at their residence. In February too, KCR had not attended Prime Minister’s visit to Hyderabad.
KCR is aware that he is losing Telangana
The question, however, arises that why is KCR avoiding a meeting with PM Modi? Why is KCR frustrated? Well, that is because KCR is aware that he will soon be kicked out of the political corridors of Telangana.
The BJP has been emerging as the major opposition party in the state, and with declining TRS; the state may be saffronised by the party’s success. The BJP succeeded in winning two Assembly by-polls and made significant gains in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
The saffron party has been able to shatter many previous records and it is all thanks to its last-mile delivery schemes. It has not only united people beyond caste lines, but also has obliterated many parties from competition. The TRS led by KCR is seeing growth, and this is why it is attacking the PM, BJP and badly handling the BJP workers.
The BJP leader Eatala Rajender, earlier in November 2021, won the Huzurabad assembly seat in Telangana for a seventh consecutive term. He defeated Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Gellu Srinivas Yadav by a margin of 23,855 votes.
The politicians have a deeper understanding of how to analyse the behavioural change in the society and changing political landscape. Thus, the political parties quickly judge who their main opponents could be. The TRS government, for the same reason, has been targeting the BJP for quite some time now.
Why is KCR losing Telangana?
KCR has seemingly gone berserk and is showing early signs that he will be losing the next assembly elections. In his hate towards PM Modi, the state CM has taken an anti-India path, which will probably end up making him lose the state.
He had once called the BJP-led government “totally undemocratic”. He had also shamelessly claimed that Rahul Gandhi did nothing wrong when the latter asked for proof of surgical strikes. “Even I can ask for proof,” he stated. Moving further, he added that “there’s a popular apprehension of disturbances at the borders right before elections. How can the BJP use the surgical strikes for political ends?”

He did not even spare the Indian Constitution and stated that “India needs to rewrite its Constitution to fulfil people’s expectations and to ensure that the country progresses to its full potential.”
You see, a person spewing venom against his own country’s constitution and the army when his ego is not being pampered makes us believe that KCR’s ego has been smashed to smithereens by the saffron party.
