Just after Islamic invaders made their way into India, relentless attacks on Kashi Vishwanath had started. First, in the 11th century, Qutb al-Din Aibak attacked it following the orders of Mohammad of Ghor. The Kashi Vishwanath Mandir has demolished again during the rule of either Hussain Shah Sharqi (1447–1458) or Sikandar Lodi (1489–1517). The final assault on the mandir was executed by Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb. In 1669 CE, Aurangzeb destroyed the mandir out of sheer hatred for Hindu culture, and built the Gyanvapi masjid in its place. The remains of the erstwhile mandir can still be seen in the foundation, the columns, and at the rear part of the mosque.
The current mandir which stands at Kashi is not the original site of worship. The original mandir continues to be situated under the symbol of barbarity that Aurangzeb erected, and what he named the Gyanvapi mosque. Interestingly, such was the lethargic snobbery of the Mughal tyrant, that he named the erected mosque with a Sanskrit name, meaning a ‘well of knowledge’.
A Well of Many Secrets
The court-mandated videography survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid complex was completed on Monday. Efforts were made to stall this survey. Islamists also tried creating scenes around the Gyanvapi Masjid to give rise to a law-and-order situation which would have delayed the survey. However, adequate police deployment by the Yogi administration ensured that the survey got completed on time.

Now that the survey has been completed, the lies peddled by Islamists for centuries have been exposed. The survey team has reportedly found a Shivling inside the well. The Shivling is 12 feet by 8 inches in diameter.
Subsequently, the court in Varanasi ordered that the area in and around the Shivling be sealed and nobody be allowed to enter it. The Varanasi court ordered district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma “to seal the area and prohibit the entry of any person to the area. In its order, the court said the DM, police commissioner and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandant Varanasi will be responsible for the security of the sealed area.
Separately, the entry of Muslims has been restricted to only 20 only for the purpose of offering namaz inside the illegal structure.
How Islamists Disrespected a Hindu Shrine for Centuries
Interestingly, if claims circulating around are to be believed, the well in which the Shivling has been found was used by Muslims for their pre-Namaaz Wudu ritual. Wuḍū is the Islamic procedure for cleansing parts of the body, a type of ritual purification, or ablution. The acts of Wudu include washing the face, arms, then wiping the head and the feet with water.
So, Muslims have reportedly been performing acts of Wudu at a site where the Shivling is located. This is disrespect of the highest order, and the people defending the masjid should be ashamed of themselves. It essentially proves the Hindu sides’ argument – that the masjid is a symbol of oppression and subjugation.
Members of Anjuman Intezamiya Masjid Committee and its Imam should be immediately arrested. It was under their guidance that Namajis were washing their hands & feet over Vishveshwar Shivling in Vuzukhana.This amounts to offence of causing grave insult to faith of other community.

The Lies of Islamists
While the Hindu side insists that the idol of Shringar Gauri is located inside the Gyanvapi mosque, the masjid management committee (Anjuman Intezamiya Masajid) says the idol of Shringar Gauri is outside, on the western wall of the mosque.
Meanwhile, even though the court has ordered for the site where the Shivling has been found to be sealed, the Muslim side is shamelessly insisting that it is all hogwash.

Abhay Nath Yadav, appearing for the Muslim side in the Gyanvapi mosque case, dismissed petitioner Sohan Lal Arya’s “Baba Mil Gaye (We got Baba)” claims. Advocate Abhay Nath Yadav stated that the Muslims in the regions cooperated during the survey and further comments will be made after the court’s report on the survey findings. He said, “No Shivling is found, I am denying it.”
Despite the lies of the occupational forces, ‘Baba’ has indeed been found. Moving forward, it is a duty on the part of Hindus to ensure that a grand Mandir comes to exist around the discovered Shivling.
