- R J Sayema and others are spreading the narrative that The Kashmir Files movie is spreading hate against Muslims
- However, the evidence they produced is weak and such untoward incidents have been happening even before the release
- After failing to beat the movie-makers on Truth, liberals have resorted to defamation and slandering to denounce the The Kashmir Files
Ever since The Kashmir Files started to make headlines, liberals have been looking to find dirt on it. Unable to do it, they have now resorted to the worst kind of defamatory tactics. To put it politely, they are blaming filmmakers for virtually every random mishap they can get their hands on.
R J Sayema, whose main job is to provide soothing talks to the city through Radio Mirchi, recently tagged filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri on a Twitter post.

Kashmiri activist blames The Kashmir Files
The original post was penned by Nasir Khuehami, national spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association. He has also written for prestigious organisations like Indian Express and The Print in the past.
On March 23, 2022, Nasir had shared a video on Twitter. The video showcased a person having identity cards made in Kashmir being denied entry into a hotel in Delhi. It is still not verified when did the incident happen. However, according to Nasir, the person was not allowed to stay in a hotel because of the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’.
Putting the onus on makers of The Kashmiri Files, Naseer captioned the video, “Impact of #KashmirFiles on the ground. Delhi Hotel denies accommodation to Kashmiri man, despite provided id and other documents. Is being a Kashmiri a Crime.”

He also tagged a multitude of famous Twitter accounts including that of NDTV, Times Now, R J Sayema and her Delhi University professor Manoj Jha.
R J Sayema blames it on Vivek Agnihotri
Naseer effectively claimed that by showcasing how Muslim neighbours assisted terrorists in killing their fellow neighbours (Kashmiri Pandits), Vivek Agnihotri has sown the seed of hatred in people’s minds about Kashmiris.
The social justice warrior inside the radio jockey was quick to pounce on the occasion. Without even verifying the truthfulness of the video, R J Sayema tried a perfect feminist tactic of guilt-tripping Vivek Agnihotri for this incident. Sharing the video, she wrote, “This is on Vivek Agnihotri.”

Later, she also shared some tweets regarding her M.Phil. degree project on the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits. So, she showcased her mandatory college work as a representative of her humanitarian side. Most likely, it was to make sure that she is not perceived as someone against the Kashmiri Pandits.

The Hawk eye goes into details
However, soon a vigilante Twitter account named ‘The Hawk Eye’, exposed the narrative being built. The Twitter account shared some old news headlines and showed that it has been happening way before the release of The Kashmir Files.
Interestingly, out of the four news headlines about the controversy regarding the denial of Hotel rooms to Kashmiris, the oldest one dates back to January 2016. Three other similar news from 2018, 2019 and 2020 were also shared by the user. Turns out that the phenomenon is way older than what liberals are portraying.
Yes everything is on Vivek. Now check the dates of incidents. This is controversial since many yrs. Some cases may be consequences of security measures. But whatsoever may the reason, let's drive our agenda against The Kashmir Files & incite people. pic.twitter.com/WMPZeEDjsx

Liberals’ never-ending effort to stop the The Kashmir Files movie
After the release of The Kashmir Files, Liberals have been trying to create hurdles for the movie. Firstly they tried to claim that the incidents shown in the movie were not based on real events. When that did not work, they started to accuse filmmakers of spreading hate. Adil Hussain, an actor infamous for spreading the lie called ‘Toxic masculinity’ suggested that filmmakers should have shown the truth in a politically correct way.
Truth must be spoken! No doubt about it. But must be spoken Tenderly. Else purpose of speaking the truth loses its beauty. And the impact is reactive. Not responsive. We, for sure, don't want to fuel a reactive society but nourish a responve-sible one. Art Should not be reactive.🙏🏾

If you are mesmerized by the words used in Hussain’s tweet, here is a breakdown for you. Hussain was suggesting to show the truth in such a way that it would hide the culpability of actual criminals of genocides in Kashmir. Not in the same words, but similar suggestions were made by other Islamic sympathizers as well.

Denial of room to individual customers is a perennial problem and while it may happen that some hotels do not unofficially allow Kashmiris. However, to blame it on the people who dared to show the truth of Kashmir on screen is absolutely wrong and a slanderous lie.
