China has been trying to impose itself on India through military, economic, and strategic diplomacy. However, the efforts failed brutally when China decided to engage in direct confrontation with India in the Galwan valley. While India has launched not just military, but its economic and strategic war on the neo-colonist Xi Jinping’s China, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), in stark contrast, is collaborating with Chinese company Oppo’s Indian arm to strengthen the research and development of the NavIC messaging service.
ISRO’s hand in OPPO’s glove:
What comes as a major shock for the nation is that ISRO overlooked the pride of the nation and went ahead to sign an agreement with Chinese originated company Oppo’s Indian arm (known for making smart devices) to fortify the research and development of the NavIC messaging service.
The NavIC system will primarily provide the regional navigation services covering the Indian mainland and an area up to 1,500 km beyond the Indian mainland. In addition to PNT (position, navigation, and timing) services, NavIC will also be facilitating broadcasting short messages.
Under this collaboration, the technical information of NavIC messaging services to shape rapid, ready to use, end-to-end application-specific solutions by enhancing NavIC messaging service as per the requirement of Indian users will be discussed between both ISRO and OPPO.
Oppo India, in a statement, told, “The memorandum will pave the way for future collaborations between ISRO and Oppo India to develop indigenous solutions by incorporating the NavIC short messaging feature in the smartphones released by OPPO India.”
India against China’s nefarious agendas:
On 15th June 2020, the Indian Army and the Chinese PLA clashed with each other at Galwan Valley. 20 Indian Army soldiers had given the Supreme sacrifice in the nasty face-off, whereas around 45 Chinese troops are estimated to have been hacked to death.
The Galwan valley clash led to a surge in anti-China sentiment nationally and internationally. The Indian government banned many Chinese apps, companies, and expelled the Chinese businesses out of India, post the clash. Indians have even boycotted the Chinese goods wherever they could, resulting in a huge gain for the Indian producers and traders and a big loss for the Chinese companies.
In the aftermath of the Galwan valley clash, even the policymakers in the national and international arena understood that Jinping-led China is not a force with which one can cooperate. Instead, they would have to compete against it and eliminate it.
India smashes China’s economy:
Earlier as reported by TFI, the huge rise in the sale of made-in-India products made a dent in the Chinese’ pockets as Chinese businesses suffered a heavy loss of more than Rs 50,000 crores in this year’s festival.
India imports more than 70,000 crores of Chinese goods during the period from holy Rakshabandhan to New Year. However, during the Rakshabandhan this year, the Chinese suffered a loss of more than Rs 5,000 crores while a loss of more than 500 crores was registered by them during Ganesh Chaturthi this year.
In addition to that, India also did not join RCEP which has reduced the potential impact of RCEP significantly. Thus, it became difficult for China to move ahead without India. It is pertinent to note that India had opted out of RCEP negotiations due to the concerns of domestic businesses about the trade agreement the country does not wish to become a dumping yard for Chinese goods.
It is disheartening to see ISRO joining hands with OPPO while the whole nation is fighting against its devilish agendas. ISRO, which has been adding feather after feather to India’s cap to mark its achievements, needs to prevent itself from demeaning its own country by collaborating with a demonic country like China.
