Nehru OUT, Savarkar IN in Modi Govt’s Azadi Mahotsav poster

Congress has been ruling this country for more than 60 years. In these 60 years, they have established an army of professors, bureaucrats, Media Personnel who have been loyal to the Nehru Gandhi family. They have buried truth to such a depth that if you try to bring it out, they will call your statement a post-truth. Something on the similar lines happened with the Indian Council of Historical research (ICHR) recently, when they decided to recognize the sacrifices of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar on a banner.

The Indian government is celebrating 75 years of Independence on a national scale. ICHR has been given the responsibility of conducting an event called ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava’. In the banner designed for the Mahotsava, ICHR has dedicated spaces to Mahatama Gandhi, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Rajendra Prasad, and others. The poster does not feature Jawahar Lal Nehru on it.

It was a matter of time before Congress IT cell ran a tweetstorm against this poster. Shashi Tharoor, the former UN Diplomat, and Congress leader tweeted– “It is not merely petty but absolutely ahistorical to celebrate Azadi by omitting the pre-eminent voice of Indian freedom, Jawaharlal Nehru. One more occasion for ICHR to disgrace itself. This is becoming a habit!”. Chhattisgarh health minister, who was recently backstabbed by Congress leadership went a step further in setting a field for Nehru, he tweeted A Nehru quote -“If any people choose to think of me, then I should like them to say—this was the man who, with all his mind and heart, loved India and the Indian people. And they, in turn, were indulgent to him and gave their love most abundantly and extravagantly.

For 70 long years, Savarkar’s struggle and contribution to India’s Independence have been kept hidden from Indian Public. Savarkar was one of the few who had identified the 1857 struggle as a steppingstone towards the Indian freedom struggle and called it India’s first war of Independence in his book with the same title. At a young age, he founded the Abhinav Bharat Society in college. Even while studying law in London, he was a key participant in the day-to-day functioning of India House and the Free India Society. He was so much involved in India’s freedom struggle while in London, that he was arrested and then extradited to India by Britishers. At the age of 28, he was sentenced to 50 years of imprisonment by the Britishers and was sent to cellular jail in Andaman and Nicobar. In 1920, leaders such as Mahatama Gandhi, Vitthal Bhai Patel, and Bal Gangadhar Tilak demanded his unconditional release from jail. Later he was sent to Ratnagiri jail and later released on the condition that he would stay in Ratnagiri only. In Ratnagiri, he wrote ‘Essentials of Hindutva’. Soon he started to unify Hindus and became a leading figure in Hindu Mahasabha. He was finally released from Ratnagiri in 1937 to participate in our freedom struggle.

The congress lobby has been hiding all this from our history textbooks and has always relied on promoting Nehru as a freedom fighter. Nehru who came from a rich family took up politics as a hobby. All he did was just follow the orders of Mahatma Gandhi and he kept getting more and more power inside the congress. When it came to rule without Gandhi and Patel, he failed miserably. He did blunders with China, handing over the UNSC seat to the Communists, while in return India was handed a war in 1962. His ultra-socialist policies did not allow India to create wealth and grow rapidly when our population was lower and the green revolution was at its peak. Other than that there were scams after scams in his administration. Today’s Kashmir conundrum is largely attributed to Nehru.  His personal life and moral codes were more hotly debated than a Hollywood celebrity.

The liberal lobby seems to be offended more about the inclusion of Savarkar than the exclusion of Nehru. They are scared that if Savarkar’s truth comes out and every Indian gets to know his full story, they may start to consider him and Subhash Chandra Bose as the masters of Indian Independence. Savarkar always talked about unifying India and Hindus, while Nehru’s and Congress’ main philosophy has been ruling by divide and rule.

People of India have the right to know who was the real leader of the Independence movement and who was a ‘useful idiot’ for the Britishers. Subhash Chandra Bose, Savarkar, Bhagat Singh are such names that were subconsciously being erased from the Indian psyche by the Congress-trained lobby. On 75 years of Independence, we Indians have the right to know who actually worked to unify India under its real historical Hindu identity and who divided India in the name of Secularism.

The time has come when we should feel proud of our Santana culture which is as old as at least 10,000 years. Greats like Savarkar who worked towards identifying this reality should be glorified and not forgotten.

Absolutely true..Nehru became PM only bcoz of M.K. Gandhi, who supported him instead of Sardar Vallabhai Patel. He and his generation next ensured that other people’s contribution in the freedom struggle were never highlighted. A fly was promoted to serve their interests.

Truth will out, someone had said. Only, in the case of this traitor, it took almost 75 years to come out.
