The Islamic State over the years has radicalised scores of unsuspecting Muslim youths through its propaganda filled content. In a worrying development, the Islamic State has openly called for “annihilating the disbelievers” by becoming coronavirus carriers in its “lockdown special” edition of the Islamic State magazine.
The Islamic State in its online publication ‘Voice of Hind’, dedicated to further its anti-India propaganda, has openly called for its supporters to make the best use of the pandemic and emerge as coronavirus carriers to attack India. The 17-page lockdown edition encourages its supporters to kill “kuffars” i.e. nonbelievers. It further provokes its followers to be ready to take steps to “annihilate the disbelievers”.
India Today reports that the cover page of the magazine features an image of the Nizamuddin Markaz event, which ended up forming a cluster of super spreaders, and an image of the Delhi riots, with the caption, “Believers stand tall its time for Kuffar to fall (sic).”
The magazine then details different ways to “annihilate the disbelievers”. The magazine states, “Keep yourselves armed at all times to never miss a chance to kill as many Kuffars as you can. Keep chains, ropes, and wires ready to choke them or beat them to death.” It further adds, “Any sharp object like glass will kill easily. Tools like scissors and hammers can come in useful to kill the Kuffar.”
In the last point of the section of ways to “annihilate the disbelievers”, mentioned is the use of coronavirus and emerge as the carriers of the deadly virus. The magazine states that, “Spread Covid virus among as many Kuffar as possible to take them down easily and with less effort.”
It also asks to spread the virus amongst the policeman deployed during the lockdown as it urges its supporters to use the virus as a weapon against the non-believers.
The Islamic State’s magazine also takes great pride in Maulana Saad and the Tablighi Jamaat as they emerged as the super-spreaders of the coronavirus in India. It also urges Muslims to avenge the arrests of Jamia Milia Islamia students, some of whom were arrested due to their role in the Delhi riots.
Intelligence agencies must be vigilant as a sinister conspiracy being hatched to cripple the country by using the Wuhan coronavirus as a weapon.
