The Congress’ desperation to brew anti-CAA protests in the country reached a new high with the Madhya Pradesh administration, in cahoots with the Kamal Nath government in the state issuing diktats to the Jain community to ensure that their procession meant to welcome a religious leader, Acharya Vidya Sagar is turned into yet another anti-CAA march. The rally, according to reports, was allowed only on the condition that the community ensures that they protest against CAA while at it.
The letter granting conditional permission had 17 points and the 15th point referred to the citizenship law. The remaining points were about dos and don’ts for organisers as prohibitory orders under Section 144 were in force, reported the Indian Express.
The permission letter and the specific condition stated therewith has created a storm on social media, with senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya tweeting, “A small example of how the administration in Madhya Pradesh is working under pressure from the Congress.”

In the letter, the 15th condition states that “This permission has been granted to ensure the rollback of the Citizenship Amendment Act in public interest.”
Meanwhile, Indore Collector Lokesh Jatav said an explanation has been sought from the SDM who issued the letter. He further stated that this was a mere human error and that the official who may have drafted the letter must have been confused since many such similar letters were being drafted for those who were protesting against CAA.
While this explanation has convinced next to nobody, the Kamal Nath government’s abuse of power to further their party agenda has been exposed. It seems that all Congress-ruled states have not only vowed not to implement CAA, but have also issued directives by the top bosses to ensure that the states vigorously orchestrate protests to create a perception that the nation is hell-bent against the Citizenship Amendment Act. In fact, ever since the passage of this crucial legislation, many opposition parties have been exposed for orchestrating large-scale protests across the nation and creating a sense of anarchy.
The diktat issued to the Jain community has infuriated them, as those crying ‘fascism on the rise’ were seen arm-twisting a minority community to protest against the act, failing which permission would not be granted for their religious rally. The same has not found any condemnation from the usually ever-outraged liberal cabal in India, with all of them maintaining an unequivocal stone-silence on the controversy.
In another desperate attempt, the Congress was also seen calling upon all the people to join in a roza against the CAA on 10th January, followed by Iftar parties to show their resistance to the same. To this effect, Kapil Sibal tweeted,

While the vast number of supporters of CAA are watching the joke play out on its own, the Congress’ attempts at creating a controversy where there is none, and further fooling people with all sorts of misinformation campaigns is a mere indicator of their attempts at remaining relevant in the national scene.
