Power high Chidambaram framed, tortured and destroyed many people. It’s payback time!

Welcome to Cafe Karma, you'll be served shortly!!!

Once one of the most powerful men in India, ex Home and Finance Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram is now on the run from the authorities after the Supreme Court rejected his request for interim bail in the ongoing INX Media case, where the Congress stalwart is accused of embezzling funds to the tune of millions. Right now, he is apparently underground, and is trying his level best to evade the hand of the police.

However, if he can’t escape something this time, it is the fruits of his actions. Chidambaram must pay for his karma, just the way he made people suffer for no fault of theirs. While the list of people wronged by Chidambaram is way too long, here are the top 5 people who have suffered the most because of P Chidambaram and his incessant devotion to the Nehru Gandhi dynasty, even at the cost the nation, her pride and her security:

Swami Aseemanand And Sadhvi Pragya

Naba Kumar Sarkar, also known as Swami Aseemanand faced the brunt of the concerted campaign to defame Hindus under the banner of ‘Saffron Terror’ that was launched by P Chidambaram and later popularized by Digvijay Singh.

As the new Home Minister, in order to show his commitment towards ‘cracking hard on terror’, P Chidambaram “made sure” that Aseemanand “confessed” to the plot of blowing up the Samjhauta Express. Swami Aseemanand later told that he was brutally tortured and pressurized by the investigating agencies to confess that he was behind these blasts. This was accepted by NIA courts which deemed the confessional statement of Aseemanand in police custody as involuntary and refused to admit it as evidence under Indian Evidence Act.

Interestingly, a Times Now report proclaimed that the original suspects were mysteriously let off the by Police after they were issued orders ‘from above.’

The same happened with Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who was tortured and maimed, despite no credible evidence that could prove her involvement in the controversial Malegaon serial blasts case.

Lt. Col. Prasad Shrikant Purohit

Another man who suffered a lot because of P Chidambaram’s highhandedness was military intelligence officer Lt. Col. Prasad Shrikant Purohit. He was apparently arrested for his involvement in the Malegaon blasts, where he was accused of procuring the materials necessary for making the explosives by stealing the same from his military arsenal.

It was the arrest of Lt. Col. Purohit that made P Chidambaram coin the term ‘Saffron Terror’ as he urged Indians to be wary of “Saffron terror” in August 2010 at a meeting of state police chiefs in New Delhi. It was Chidambaram who left no stone unturned in order to make sure that Lt. Col. Purohit remained behind the bars, even when there was no credible evidence against him. The handiwork of Chidambaram’s Home Ministry behind framing Lt. Col. Purohit for the bomb blasts has been explained in detail by Shri RVS Mani, ex officer in the Home Ministry in his book ‘Hindu Terror : Insider Account from Ministry of Home Affairs’. Shri Mani alleged that the UPA government had forced Home Ministry officials to “manufacture” a false narrative about the presence of “Hindu terror”.

DG Vanzara

This IPS officer has probably seen the darkest side of P Chidambaram as the Home Minister. DG Vanzara was the Deputy Inspector General of Police in Gujarat Police, when he was arrested at the behest of UPA government for his alleged involvement in the ‘fake encounters’ of terrorist Ishrat Jahan and extortionist Sohrabuddin Sheikh.

It was P Chidambaram who had went out of his way to ensure that DG Vanzara and his colleagues not only languish in prison, but also tried to erase evidences that could expose the way UPA tried to frame him. It is alleged that Chidambaram also tried to change affidavit in Ishrat Jahan case, which may have indicated that the slain individuals may not have been innocent at all.

Interestingly, according to RVS Mani’s book, for 5 whole years, the Lashkar e Taiba’s banned magazine freely mentioned about Ishrat Jahan’s role as their recruit, and how they are proud of her martyrdom. However, neither the Home Ministry mentioned about it, nor did P Chidambaram let anyone else know about this crucial fact. This now raises serious doubts about P Chidambaram’s allegiance to the nation, and we wonder if he was hand in glove with those who sought to destroy our nation.

Amit Shah

To be honest, if the current events indicate anything, it is the poetic justice that is being served upon P Chidambaram. The man whom he tried to destroy, the man whom he wanted to see behind the bars is ironically the current Home Minister of the country. Back in 2010, Amit Shah was the Home Minister of the Gujarat state, who was accused of supervising the ‘fake encounter’ of dreaded criminal cum extortionist Sohrabuddin Sheikh.

It was P Chidambaram’s Home Ministry who not only pulled out all stops in order to prove him guilty, even when it was proven without doubt that Sohrabuddiin Sheikh was actually a dreaded criminal, but also ensured that despite being out on bail, Amit Shah was not able to enter Gujarat from 2010 to 2012. P Chidambaram gave patronage to journalists who made a living out of framing Amit Shah for the encounters.

Narendra Modi

Even our Prime Minister has had his fair share of mental, if not physical harassment at the hands of P. Chidambaram. Despite being the sitting Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi was forced to attend the SIT proceedings on the 2002 riots on a regular basis. Though this was not compulsory by law, the Home Ministry under P Chidambaram made sure that Narendra Modi was forced to attend the proceedings as per his diktats. Apart from the 2002 case, Narendra Modi was also grilled for his proximity with Amit Shah, who was being tried separately for the encounters of Ishrat Jahan and Sohrabuddin Sheikh, which occurred under his tenure as the Home Minister.

9 years later, the tables have turned and most of the people, who were at the receiving end of P Chidambaram’s high handedness, are free and proved ‘not guilty’. Sadhvi Pragya is an elected MP. Col. Purohit has been recommissioned. Aseemanand could be an MLA soon. Amit Shah is the home minister of the country and Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of the country. And P Chidambaram is a crook on the run. He may outrun the law for some time, Karma has already caught up with him.
