At the end of Aam Aadmi Party, Kejriwal will be left with just Sanjay Singh

The true friend!!

I have a theory. At the end of the revolution turned political party turned grand tamasha, Delhi’s part time CM and full time Don Quixote will be left with just one man and that man will be Sanjay Singh. Let’s analyze the league of extraordinary gentlemen who started the party. It was his insurgency, Sri Kejriwal himself, then there was Prashant Bhushan, ace lawyer who has a knack of getting thrashed by milords and a penchant for protecting terrorists and criminals. He was talented, that Bhushan chap for he was hailed by champagne socialists and vodka communists of India. He is also a famous lawyer and has enough money to last him 3 lifetimes. Then there was Yogendra Yadav, the man who is beyond the realm of time for he sees things ordinary irises can’t. He sees and predicts and gets it wrong but starts seeing all over again. YoYa is a leading champagne socialist and a name-changing secular and a self-styled psephologist. He is mighty famous on Twitter; he dresses like a character straight from Salim-Javed movies but speaks like an Oxford professor. YoYa is a brand, a bad one but a brand, nonetheless. Both PraBhu and YoYa were unceremoniously dumped from the revolutionary party but both the gentlemen keep liking Kejriwal’s mood swings otherwise also known as tweets.

There was an Ashutosh who’s journalism career was blessed by the legendary Kanshi Ram himself when the latter decided to slap the former over some trivial matter. The slapstick Patrakar went on to become a legend of the studio rooms and formally took the political plunge when Aam Aadmi Party was touted to be the next big thing in Indian politics. He went on to become a legend of the studio room again but this time as a panelist. The legendary Ashutosh killed his opponents and the English language with alarming frequency. The romance was to last soon when one fine day he decided to bid adieu to the party. There was a Kapil Mishra who was on his way to expose some wrongdoings with the previous government. Mishra was dumped but Mishra was not the one to take insults lying down. He went on to become a Bhakt and number one Kejriwal baiter on Social media.

Let’s talk about the present members now. There is handsome Manish Sisodia who as per Delhi’s gossipmongers is the actual CM of Delhi. Sisodia has cunningly used Kejriwal’s attention-seeking pangs to establish himself as a sane voice in what is hailed as one of the most inanest political parties across the globe. Sisodia will have takers, even if Kejriwal hangs his boots…errr. Chappals. Then there is Kavi Kumar Vishwas who calls Kejriwal Atmmughd Bauna (Self-obsessed dwarf), he is clearly outside the party while being inside it. He reminds me of Katya’s sala from Sunny Deol starrer Ghatak, who had sworn an oath to remain with Katya (Danny Denzongpa) till his termination. Then there is Atishi Marlena, the lady with a progressive surname. The lady has managed to convince the Dilliwallahs as well as a large section of media and Bollywood that she is some sort of an educationist. Facts deny her claim, but facts and Indian politics never really go hand in hand. If she leaves AAP, she will probably find takers in communist party of India (Marxist) for sure.

So now you see why I said that at the end of the revolution turned political party turned grand tamasha, Delhi’s part time CM and full time Don Quixote will be left with just one man and that man will be Sanjay Singh. Sanjay Singh is a plain man, thick in appearance and in wisdom. He is cute and unassuming. He takes things on face value. The equations he applies to life and politics are as simple. He questions complicated analyses, challenges photos that arouse suspicion.

How will you react to a photo that has people of the same profession wounded at the exact same spot?

https://t.co/tUlC4n8whk

— Sanjay Singh AAP (@SanjayAzadSln) June 16, 2019

How should a responsible citizen of the country react to a concerted campaign?

https://t.co/tUlC4n8whk

— Sanjay Singh AAP (@SanjayAzadSln) June 16, 2019

And life is not always about complicated takes, it’s also about being plain and simple

— Sanjay Singh AAP (@SanjayAzadSln) June 14, 2019

Sanjay Singh is a good-natured big guy who has managed to keep himself away from the complications of politics. A plain man may not be a great asset in any political war-room, but he offers unwavering loyalty, steadfast fealty and a friendship that’s beyond the shallow boundaries of unscrupulousness and opportunism. Kejriwal just has one friend at this point of time, and he must cherish this precious relationship.
