The Rahul Gandhi led Congress has hit a new low even by its own miserable standards. In an absolutely disgusting video clip that is going viral on social media, kids seemingly mentored by Congress workers can be seen abusing Prime Minister Modi. What is particularly shocking is the fact that it was being done in the presence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Initially, the kids can be seen shouting, ‘Chowkidar Chor hai’, a slogan based on the lies propagated by the Rahul Gandhi led party in connection with the Rafale deal. While the kids were being made into political props by the party workers, the Gandhi scion seemed to have no problem with it. The Congress is clearly trying to manipulate impressionable minds by indoctrinating them. However, what is particularly objectionable is how the kids were made to hurl abuses at the Prime Minister, seemingly by Congress workers in the presence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
The video is disgusting not only because of the manner in which distasteful abuses were hurled at PM Modi but also because of the bizarre reaction given by the Gandhi scion. While the kids were hurling abuses at PM Modi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra could be seen giving a sheepish smile and casually telling them, “ye wala nahi, ye acha nahi lag raha (Not this one, this doesn’t sound good). Her reaction to the abuses did not manifest a feeling of disgust but seemed to suggest as if she felt that it was an innocent slip of tongue.
This shows the frustration of the Congress. All that the grand old party can think of is how to slander PM Modi and doesn’t really care about how political outfits and leaders ought to conduct themselves in public life.
What is important to mention here is the fact that the Gandhi scion wasn’t really concerned about whether distasteful remarks should not be made about the Prime Minister of the country. She asked the kids not to say that one line only because it didn’t look good. While those who mentored the kids didn’t bother to maintain standards of political decency, even the Gandhi scion did not care to tell the kids about how such distasteful remarks should not be made about any political leader and especially about a respected leader like the Prime Minister of the country.
The Congress deserves to be banished harshly for this shameful and disgusting act in the rest of the phases of the ongoing elections. The Congress was never an ideal party when it comes to public discourse but with this act Congress has hit a new low even by its own miserable standards. Congress culture has been at its worst this election season.
