The Congress Party has reached a new low in spreading awareness of the fake Hinduism it concocts to suit its narrative. In one of its campaigning videos, the Congress has outright insulted the worshipers by calling them traitors and used Hindu symbols to show that such symbols are used to propagate violence. The video shows a man wearing saffron clothes who, the lyrics say, has a loose character. The video hurts the sentiments of millions of people who identify as Hindus.
The Congress has crossed all boundaries in insulting the Hindu religion and its followers. The video also speaks of how the saffron colour is now a symbol of violence. It calls out those in saffron clothing as corrupt and opportunistic. The video named “Bhakt Charitra” which apparently is a new gimmick to target the Modi government is more of an insult to dedicated worshipers.
The video has used major symbols of the Hindu religion like the Dhanush, Rudraaksh, Saffron flag and even images of Lord Ram to depict how corrupt the soul of those who dress in saffron clothes and proudly call themselves protectors of Hinduism is. The man in the video threatens that these Bhakts will one day be destroyed and the pretence of spirituality will come to an end. The Congress Party through the video tends to propagate the idea that those who consider themselves as Bhakts and pretending to be spiritual in reality have loose character.

The depiction of Hindu symbols as symbols of violence is highly derogatory to the members of the religious community. It directly targets the sentiments of the Hindu majority, and shows how low the Congress has stooped for winning the Lok Sabha elections. The power play of Congress by using Hindu symbols and turning those into symbols of violence to please the minority which it is banking its vote on.
The Congress Party has already disappointed the majority community and fabricated Hinduism to settle their own political scores. The idea behind the video might be targeting the BJP but it clearly insults Hinduism and those who are its dedicated worshippers. The Hindu symbols are used to state ones spiritual dedication, and using them to fulfil political agendas is disgraceful on the part of Congress Party.
Rahul Gandhi, in his speeches during the rallies conducted has also said that those who visit temples are also the ones who molest girls in buses. The continuous attack on a particular religion to please other communities is a shameless. The Congress despite receiving backlash on social media platforms has never been apologetic for the nuisance it creates through the campaign video.
