Frustrated with lack of support to Bharat Bandh, Congress supporters resort to violence and mayhem

Today, in the entire country there was a chaos like condition, all thanks to the Grand Old Party of India. People, businesses, transportation all suffered because of the whims of the Congress party. Even the hospitals and ambulance services were not allowed to function properly. Violence was used to instill fear among citizens across the country. Stories of destruction, violence, hooliganism have been reported from all over the country. All this happened because of Congress party’s call of ‘Bharat Bandh’ in order to satisfy their ego. They tried to create an emergency like situation or even worse than that. Anyone, who defied the diktat of Bharat Bandh was mercilessly beaten or threatened badly. It exposed the real, cruel face of the opposition. It showed what is going on inside their minds. What they want is to grab the throne of Delhi once again even if it comes at the cost of innocent people. In a tragic and disturbing incident, a two-year-old girl in Bihar’s Jehanabad lost her life, allegedly because of anarchism created by callous protestors prevented the parents from taking her to the hospital on time.

Shocking. A 2-year-old girl has died during Bharat Bandh protests in Jehanabad of Bihar because an ambulance was not allowed to reach hospital in time. Who will take the responsibility for this horrific death? How can anyone protest by making common people and masses suffer?

#BREAKING — #BharatBandh: 2-year-old girl died as the vehicle carrying her to Bihar's Jehanabad civil hospital got stuck in road blockade by Bandh supporters. Reacting to the unfortunate and tragic death of 2 year old girl, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad asked Congress, “Everyone has a right to protest but what is happening today? Petrol pumps and buses being set ablaze, putting lives to risk. A child died after an ambulance was stuck in the protests in Bihar’s Jehanabad. Who is responsible? Will the Congress party take responsibility for it? (sic.)”

It looks like the protestors had some incipient hatred for the innocent children. In Pune, school buses were attacked by stone-pelters. Windows of the school buses suffered heavy damages. However, no school children suffered any damage in this cowardly attack.

So called ‘Opposition Parties’ u have every right to protest but misguiding youth, targeting innocent school children, destroying public property & trying to instill fear in citizens for ur own cheap political gains is really deplorable. Shows Pathetic desperation of ur leaders pic.twitter.com/ioYcSWewfg

In Patna, supporters of Bharat-Bandh indulged in vandalism. They also disrupted movement of trains. Schools and shops remained closed during the six-hour long Bharat Bandh which was supported by the RJD, CPI and CPI (M). In Rajendra Nagar area of Patna, activists of the Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) formed by notorious MP Pappu Yadav damaged many private vehicles.

In Karnataka, the Bharat Bandh turned violent. Stones were pelted at a BJP MLA Raj Naik’s car. The Bharat Bandh showed violent colors in many other places in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.

Affects of Bharat Bandh were also seen in Western Uttar Pradesh especially in areas of Mathura and Ghaziabad.

In Tripura, due to unavailability of vehicles on the account of Bharat Bandh, the students drove an auto rickshaw themselves to sit for an exam.

Many other visuals of ordeal faced by common folks were reported from the entire country. All this shows frustration and more than that the desperation of the Congress party to come back to power. The Congress supporters wreaked havoc on the roads and public properties.

It shows , opposition has no positive agenda…No ideas ,no solutions , only anarchist way of protest…What they will gain… Nothing …It seems they are having lot of free time… #BharatBandh pic.twitter.com/cxUZnjV7f6

Dear @RahulGandhi , you claim yourself as a Shiv bhakt.
Today is monday & I was going to a nearby Shiva temple to do Rudra puja. Your paid congress goons stopped my vehicle, broke the car mirror & threatened to burn it. Is this how you behave with ur fellow devotee? #BharatBandh pic.twitter.com/34xtL0FvOY

All this frustration is a result of so many electoral defeats and paucity of real issues to counter the rising popularity of Modi government. Their actions in frustration caused suffering to lakhs of people across the country. This petty, flatulent, vindictive and entitled attitude of the Congress got the party at its lowest point and the mayhem they are creating today on the roads will be remembered by the people when they go out to cast their votes in 2019. The Congress sponsored ‘Bharat Bandh’ found hardly any support from the common folks of the nation. Many visuals have emerged where people protested against the Bandh and countered the hooliganism of the Congress by chanting slogans in support of the BJP and PM Modi.

These visuals of violence by Congress supporters will come to haunt the party during 2019 elections.
