The Fascism Within: How Marxism fostered anti-semitism.

“What is the object of the Jew’s worship in this world? Usury. What is his worldly god? Money.”(“A World Without Jews,” p. 37)

If you think these words are straight from a Fascist pamphlet, you would be partially right and very wrong; because their writer is the very inspiration many intellectuals find gainful employment in hunting down Fascism outside the JNU campus.

Ladies and gentleman, presenting: Karl Marx.

Marx himself belonged to Yiddish Jew lineage until his father converted to the Evangelical Church which was the State religion of Prussia. Like any new convert, he took it upon himself to show how Judaism is backward.

Like all white-washings by Communists in History, Marx’s take on Judaism in “On the Jewish Question” which contains far more damning and disgusting observations on Jewish habits, has been projected to be not that against Jews but in their function as bankers to the entire Capitalist system. It is projected as an essay that calls for Jewish assimilation into Societies by not only dissolving their religion but also those of Protestants and their entrepreneur spirit and also the religion of the masses to pave the way for Communism.

Even if one agrees with this viewpoint, somebody who has any idea on religion will tell you that it is nothing but imposition of Christianity on Jews. Christians and Jews both follow the Old Testament but Jews just cannot stomach the New Testament. Jews view their Prophets as just and wise individuals who could listen to God while Christianity agrees but then goes on to proclaim Jesus as the son of God who has exceptional supernatural powers. In Judaism, prophets die once their task on earth is fulfilled whereas the resurrection of Jesus three days after death on Easter just to prove that he has mastery over death and his expected second coming before the day of judgement is not exactly Kosher for Jewish theologians.

Communist Philosophy is but entirely based on such Christian tenets where realization of Communism is but the secular version of this second coming of Christ. Bertrand Russell in this regard does not even consider Marx a great philosopher but a sort of hate mongering mischief maker who uses the same template of ‘other’ifying the Capitalist as a class as had been done by Christians on Pagans and by Muslims on Hindus, making class warfare equitable to the crusades or Jihaad. [1]

To put simply, the similarities can be pegged as[2]

Yahweh = Dialectial Materialism

The Messiah = Marx

The Elect = The Proletariat

The Church = The Communist Party

The Second Coming = The Revolution

Hell = Punishment of the Capitalists

The Millennium = The Communist Commonwealth

Many erstwhile Communists fully support this theory. To quote O. Spengler “Christianity is the grandmother of Bolshevism.” Alasdair Macintyre wrote a whole book on this issue titled “Marxism and Christianity” comparing functioning of the Party with that of the Church.

Marx himself confirms this Christian influence when he writes on Jews on a column “The Russian Loan” for the New York Daily Tribune.[3]

The fact that 1855 years ago Christ drove the Jewish moneychangers out of the temple, and that the moneychangers of our age enlisted on the side of tyranny happen again chiefly to be Jews, is perhaps no more than a historical coincidence. The loan-mongering Jews of Europe do only on a larger and more obnoxious scale what many others do on one smaller and less significant. But it is only because the Jews are so strong that it is timely and expedient to expose and stigmatize their organization.

Interestingly, in the cited piece, the author Michael Ezra talks how selective amnesia made a Marxist website drop this article from a list of articles penned by Marx for the newspaper.

Where does Fascism fit in? Fascism employed the same reasoning of Marx in order to bring their National Socialism agenda in Germany. Strasserism, or anti-semitism not towards Jewish culture but towards their work ethics was a dominant theme of Hitler’s Nazi party. The language of Command and Control that can make these bad things go away is all too common between Hitler and Stalin.

The fact that Germany lost the 1st World War was pinned on Jews on the logic that they are more tied to their kin than to their nation. They chose to collectively betray Germany because they had investments in nations of both camps. Thus, a quick end to the war would see less erosion of their Capital and quick redemption of the finance system they controlled.Petty economic sight had apparently overtaken the entire Nation’s interest.

The founders of this school, Gregor and Otto Stasser were killed and exiled by Hitler when they failed to toe the party line.

The pragmatic Hitler probably did it to please the Capitalist class as they were very necessary to build the German War Machine before the invasion of Europe.
The killing and silencing of intellectual dissidents hereis not unique to Nazism but follows the same pattern of Stalinist Russia and Mao’s China. Stalin put people in Gulags and his assassination of Trotsky in faraway Mexico is widely known. Mao was shrewder when he started the “Hundred Flowers Program” allowing intellectuals to criticize the government, making a list of them and then ordering their silencing.

The most surprising aspect of all is the treatment of Jews in USSR post 1945. The same logic was reapplied and Jews were once again made to enact their stereotypical role of a World conspirator. State run propaganda networks used terms like “rootless cosmopolitans”, “bourgeoiscosmopolitans” to describe Jews and called for their dismemberment from the society at large.

The night of 12–13th August 1952 best remembered as the “Night of the Murdered Poets” saw the execution of thirteen of the most prominent Yiddish writers of the Soviet Union like PeretzMarkish, David Bergelson and ItzikFefer.Stalin is said to have announced at the Politburo meet on 1st December the same year: “Every Jewish nationalist is the agent of the American intelligence service. Jewish nationalists think that their nation was saved by the USA. . . They think they are indebted to the Americans. Among doctors, there are many Jewish nationalists.”[4]

The following two years saw a quiet but notable campaign to quietly remove Jews from positions of authority within the state security services. The Russian historians Zhores and Roy Medvedev wrote that according to MVD General Sudoplatov, “simultaneously all Jews were removed from the leadership of the security services, even those in very senior positions. In February the anti-Jewish expulsions were extended to regional branches of the MGB. A secret directive was distributed to all regional directorates of the MGB on 22 February, ordering that all Jewish employees of the MGB be dismissed immediately, regardless of rank, age or service record. . . .”[5]

In spite of theseblood smears, tear soaks and the skeletons inside their intellectual cupboard, these people find time to step out and equate Savarkar and Guru Golwalkar with Fascism, albeit on our tax money.

Irony dies a thousand deaths when these people scavenge out to change the world without understanding that change begins from Home.
