The honorable Supreme Court Bench comprising of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud dismissed the plea filed for a fresh independent probe into the death of Justice Brijgopal Harkishan Loya. The Supreme Court bench showed its faith in the medical and other evidences brought on record. The SC criticized the petitioners and backers stating that the pleas were a “veiled attempt to launch a frontal attack on the independence of the judiciary and to dilute the credibility of judicial institutions.” Slamming the high hopes of the Congress party and its associates, the SC bench found the evidences to be “clear and consistent” and there were no reasons to doubt the reports filed in the case. The judgment and statements passed by the SC revealed the true nature of the Congress party and allies. The Chief Ministers of Bharatiya Janata Party ruled states welcomed the judgment of the SC and further opened attack on the Congress party leadership.

The SC bench added that “Political scores have to be settled in the great halls of democracy. The petitioners had gone to the extent of insinuating that one man was controlling the entire judiciary.” The bench considered it an attack on the court and the judicial process when it added that, “This is an attempt to somehow sensationalize the case, scandalize the court and malign the judges.”

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis opened the attacks on the opposition by calling it a plot of the “Congress, Communist parties, their allies & some media houses”. He demanded an apology from the aforementioned for spreading lies against BJP’s National President Amit Shah. CM Fadnavis also pointed out that the revival of the death of Justice Loya case was nothing but a feeble attempt by the opposition to raise doubts and attack the BJP Party President. The SC judgment was also a big victory for the Maharashtra government led by CM Fadnavis. The investigation report in the Justice Loya case was submitted by the Maharashtra government, the Supreme Court had shown its faith in the investigation report. CM Fadnavis also pointed out that the plea was a farce from the beginning. The opposition parties had run out of agendas to rally around anti-India forces. This, according to CM Fadnavis, led them to making a mountain out of a molehill in the Justice Loya case.

My take on Hon Supreme Court's Judgement on #JudgeLoya case!
Now Congress ( @INCIndia ), Communist parties, their allies & some media houses MUST apologise to our Nation for spreading such utter lies against our National President @AmitShah ji!#SCJudgementSlamsCong pic.twitter.com/TljWNYhWNv

CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath also launched an attack on the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi. He called it a plot of the Congress party to malign the names of Amit Shah and the honorable Supreme Court. He thanked the SC for revealing to the public the sinister plot of the Congress party leadership. CM Yogi also brought up the political drama of Rahul Gandhi doing a press conference and making 150 MPs sign the petition which was submitted to the President of India related to the plea in the Justice Loya case. CM Yogi blasted the opposition for questioning the credibility of the SC.

#SCJudgmentSlamsCong pic.twitter.com/LWPXCqWgVx

#SCJudgmentSlamsCong

— Yogi Adityanath (मोदी का परिवार) (@myogiadityanath) April 19, 2018

CM Biplab Kumar Deb of Tripura welcomed the SC rejection of the plea. He also mentioned that the petition filed was a case of “political revenge” plot being carried out by the Congress party President Rahul Gandhi. He pointed towards the Congress party for orchestrating a plot to malign the name of BJP and its President Amit Shah.

— Biplab Kumar Deb (MODI Ka Parivar) (@BjpBiplab) April 19, 2018

— Biplab Kumar Deb (MODI Ka Parivar) (@BjpBiplab) April 19, 2018

— Biplab Kumar Deb (MODI Ka Parivar) (@BjpBiplab) April 19, 2018

Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani also termed it as a plot by the Congress party leadership to politicize the unfortunate death of Justice Loya. He mentioned that the Congress party had earlier tried to frame Amit Shah in the Sohrabuddin encounter case.

My take on Honourable Supreme Court's Judgement on #JudgeLoya case.

सत्यमेव जयते! pic.twitter.com/jM9sbDTvoa

— Vijay Rupani (Modi Ka Parivar) (@vijayrupanibjp) April 19, 2018

Other BJP CMs such as Jharkhand CM Raghuvar Das called it a “slap on the face of Congress”  while CM of Manipur Nongthombam Biren said that “Justice have finally prevailed with the Supreme Court quashing the ‘Political Interest Litigations’ filed to damage the reputation of BJP National President Shri Amit Shah (sic).”

Justice have finally prevailed with the Supreme Court quashing the ‘Political Interest Litigations’ filed to damage the reputation of BJP National President Shri @AmitShah #SCJudgementSlamsCong . Should apologize to the nation .@PMOIndia @BJPINDIA7 @rammadhavbjp @RajatSethi86

— N.Biren Singh (Modi Ka Parivar) (@NBirenSingh) April 19, 2018

SatyamevJayate! The welcome judgement by the honourable Supreme Court in #JudgeLoya case is a tight slap to those people who were exploiting the natural death of the Judge and playing petty politics for their narrow vested interests.

— Dr Raman Singh (@drramansingh) April 19, 2018

The Congress party should and must apologize for its false narratives and its plot to malign the Judiciary and the BJP. This must be done by the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi himself if they want to maintain any kind of credibility for the future.
