Azadpur Mandi has an important message for Arvind Kejriwal

The Azadpur Mandi effect: Time to stop taking common people for granted

Famous American President Abraham Joseph Lincoln once said, ‘You can fool all the people some of the time, you can fool some people all the time, but YOU CANNOT FOOL ALL THE PEOPLE ALL THE TIME’

Never has the quote been as true as it has been in today’s times, when a so called masterstroke of inciting the common people against the Central Government of INDIA backfired, rather brutally.

Cut to Azadpur Mandi: One of the biggest fruits and vegetables market in Asia came into limelight recently, when Aam Aadmi Party supremo and unofficially the CHIEF MINISTER OF INDIA, Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister of Bengal and the feminine alter ago of Kejriwal in Bengal, Mamata Bannerjee dropped in to address a large gathering of both the market workers and the common people. Apparently, they had joined hands to show their supremacy against the Central Government, led by PM Narendra Modi, who had taken the risk of demonetizing Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 bank notes.

Apparently, the mega rally was hugely successful, where Kejriwal and Mamata singled out Narendra Modi, accusing him of unleashing ‘pain’ on the common man in the name of weeding out black money and accused him of promoting ‘pretentious nationalism.’

Also, Kejriwal and Mamata openly threatened the country of unleashing a huge wave of anarchy, if their demands of rollback were not met within three days. For once, if one carefully listened to their speech, he / she would’ve wondered if they were really right, and would’ve been seriously concerned, had something else not happened.

What the mainstream media, dominated by certified nitwits and intellectual terrorists, showed us was excessive protests, and intensive rumor mongering with respect to the Azadpur Mandi rally. However, what they didn’t show, or in a way, didn’t give enough coverage to, was THIS:-

Before the two had arrived, a sizeable community of traders and commoners, who had gathered at the rally site, brutally castigated both of them, Kejriwal in particular, accusing him of misleading ‘Delhi and INDIA’ on the issue of demonetization.  Following was the tirade of protests and trolls unleashed at Kejriwal:-

  • One of the protesters summarized the identity of Kejriwal well. To quote him, ‘He is the most corrupt of all politicians. He is just doing politics and nothing else.’
  • Some of the protesters, especially traders, wore black ribbons and protested against Kejriwal with slogans like ‘Gali Gali mein shor hai, Kejriwal chor hai (There’s noise in every alley, that Kejriwal is the thief of the alley!) Also, they roared unequivocally their support for Narendra Modi. Kejriwal and Mamata were specially greeted with ‘Kejriwal Hai Hai!’ (Down with Kejriwal!) and ‘Narendra Modi Zindabad!’ (Long Live Narendra ModI!)
  • One of the protesters also exposed the hypocrisy of Arvind Kejriwal, saying that where was he when workers in Azadpur Mandi were facing severe losses, while lauding the decision of Narendra Modi and appreciating the gesture of his old mother Heeraben going to the bank herself to exchange the old notes.
  • One of the protesters, and councilor for BJP, Neelam Budhiraja also attended the meet. Interestingly, before Kejriwal and Mamata took their places on the dais, all of the protesters were detained by the Delhi Police, and were let off only after the rally got over.

Another amusing incident, deliberately hid by the mainstream media, was perhaps the way Mamata Banerjee whisked off her hand from the grip of Kejriwal, who gripped her twice, apparently in support of her protest against the government, but in reality the way he gripped her hand showed something else. Interestingly, the following day, when Vijender Gupta questioned the surprising connection of AAP with sexual innuendos, the house was adjourned, and Kejriwal himself left in a huff.

I hope we do remember the ex-cadet of the same party, who was forced to commit suicide, just because Kejriwal, instead of acting on her allegations of a top brass leader molesting her, asked her to ‘compromise’ instead. Probably this incident exposed the sense of lewdness that is running inside Aam Aadmi Party, and Kejriwal promised 15 lakh CCTV cameras for women safety! Hypocrisy committed suicide on this very promise!

What is the lesson to be learnt?

The massive trolling of Kejriwal and Mamata before the Azadpur Mandi rally just goes on to prove, that common man cannot be taken for granted anymore.

A common man only wants his basic amenities to be fulfilled, and ignoring his / her needs will now prove to be costly for any party with pseudo secular and anti democratic credentials. Liberals in America learnt it the hard way by the hands of Donald Trump, when will our liberals wake up?

With the pseudo secular parties being exposed, bit by bit on the issue of demonetization, I’m sure the day is not far, when not one single party with shady connections will be able to lock horns in a democratic election. But for that, we the citizens of INDIA need to play our part too. The government’s struggle to change the same will just not be enough, if the citizens refuse to adhere to their duties well.
