In Sitamarhi, north Bihar, a practicing lawyer has filed a complaint case against Lord Rama in a court.
Complainant Thakur Chandan Kumar Singh filed the ‘case’ in the court of the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) and alleged that Lord Rama had banished Devi (goddess) Sita to a life in exile in a forest without any suitable justification for doing so.
“The Devi was exiled (given ‘vanvasa’) for no fault of hers. It was a hypocritical order from Lord Rama. How can a man become so cruel to his wife that he shttp://tfipost.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpends her off to live in a forest? Lord Rama did not think for a single moment how a woman could live alone amid wild animals, including reptiles and mammals, in the forest”, the report quoted the complainant as saying, reported Indian Express.
The lawyer cited this as an instance of a non-cognizable offence committed by Lord Rama towards his wife, who was later found innocent of charges for which she was sought to be punished.
On February 1, the CJM agreed to take up the matter for hearing on the point. The complainant claimed his aim was not to hurt anybody’s religious feeling.
This is certainly one of the best things that I have heard or read in a long time. I am both inspired and thrilled. So I decided to take it a little forward. In Hindu Religion, there are many instances of grave injustices meted out to minorities (Rakshasas) and Womenfolk.
Why Single Out Lord Rama?
Case Number one – Maa Durga killed the last of a rare Man-Buffalo endangered species Mahishasura. PETA folks who paint the internet with pro-animal slogans (except…well cow) and oppose killing of animals (except on Bakrid) should file a case against Maa Durga.
Case Number two – Following the anti-women stance of his elder brother, Lakshmana chopped the nose of Swapnsundari Shoorpnakha. Alright she was lecherous and Lakshmana was a married man and she was getting violent but is physically assaulting a woman justified? The answer is no hence Feminists, you must go for a kill.
Case Number 3 – Bhasmasur (A Minority (Rakshas)) was a smart man, he got the better of Lord Shiva. And when lord Shiva was caught off guard, he summoned Lord Vishnu for his help. So Vishnu first lured the hapless Rakshas by assuming the form of a beautiful damsel and then made him kill himself. Multiple charges of forgery and planned murder apply on Lord Vishnu.
Case Number 4 – Daksh Prajapati was a cool guy. He loved parties and it was completely his call to decide the guest list. But Maa Sati went there uninvited and ended up losing her life. Lord Shiva should have kept his calm. But no, Shiva killed Daksh, a constitutionally nominated Minister in cold blood in a mad fit of revenge. And he beheaded his own son too. Case please!
Case Number 5 – And how can we leave Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna got worked up on the 100 allegations of Shisupal & beheaded him in full public view. Madness. This is a complete travesty of law. Does it not call for a legal proceeding against Lord Krishna?
Case Number 6 – Ganga drowned her own sons, while her husband Shantanu watched the crimes coolly. Case against Both!
Case Number 7 – Lord Ganesha cheated his sibling Kartikeya by doing a round of his parents instead of racing as was the norm. One ‘420’ Case please.
