RTI response that exposes a lying Arvind Kejriwal

I am very much uncomfortable in calling to minds, the political dates or the dates of occurrence of some political happenings, more particularly in today’s politics, but my mind can’t let slip from memory the date of 28th of March 2015, at any cost. I shall never allow my memory to obliterate this date because it has a special significance in enhancing my political understanding. This date, I can’t forget because the dreams of many of the young souls like me, of a Corruption-free India, had been brutally made to shatter by a despotic decision of a monocratic Political chameleon, Arvind Kejriwal. Yes, this was the date of an extremely autocratic expulsion of some of the founding members of the ‘Aam Admi Party’ and the heartiest hugging of a loyal coterie or a syndicate of sycophants, in its National Council meeting dated 28th March 2015.

Though, the Czarlike character of Arvind Kejriwal has never been a clandestine affairs in the Indian politics, this day had evidenced the epitomic portrayal of his tyrannical and fascist mindset in various forms. The main architect of AAP’s formation, Mr. Shanti Bhushan, who had donated ‘Rupees One Crore’ at the time of this Party’s formation, was clumsily humiliated in his age of 90, and shouted with ‘Gaddaron ko Bahar karo (Remove the renegades)’ in this NC Meet, by none other than an inside mob led by AAP MLAs Kapil Mishra and Nitin Tyagi, among others. The AAP leader Ramzan Choudhary was physically attacked and manhandled by the professional bouncers employed to conduct the meeting in a unidirectional approach.

The ‘Aam Admi Party’ headed by Arvind Kejriwal entered the Indian Politics claiming to be founded on the ideal of transparency and accountability, but such was the plight of transparency that day that the totalitarian Arvind Kejriwal didn’t permit even pens to take inside the meeting venue, so that no spy camera could capture the sordid episode taking place inside and the hooliganism of the bouncers employed to conduct the meeting. Also, such was the state of accountability that day that the Internal Lokpal of the Party, Admiral Ramdas, about whom the Party always boasted in its political campaigns during Delhi election, for having an Internal Lokpal of his integrity and stature, was ordered by Arvind Kejriwal’s coterie to not attend the NC meet, as it could possibly cause ‘Confrontation’, the nature of which was better known to the Arvind Kejriwal’s coterie itself.

There are so many inside facts to discuss about the self-portrayal of Arvind Kejriwal’s totally totalitarian temperaments that day, but I don’t want to hash over all those despicable affairs, in this piece, as some of these affairs are already in public-domain. The entire events of that day could be summed up in a single line that ‘Aam Admi Party’ officially turned into ‘Arvind’s Autocratic Party’ that day.

The purpose of this piece is to get the people informed about the biggest lie which Mr. Arvind Kejriwal made that day, during his speech at this NC Meet on 28th March 2015. Do you remember his artificially created and thoroughly edited emotional speech of nearly forty-five minutes (available on YouTube) with the prime focus only on Kejriwal’s countenance, the raw footage of which, has still not been made public by the Party?

It was in this artificially created emotional but mendacious speech that Mr. Kejriwal says in the last moments that today the NC members will have to choose either him or the team of dissident leaders, Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav among others, as he couldn’t work with them anymore. It means that the indication was clear for the NC members to show them their respective doors. Mr. Kejriwal was already carrying a ‘Soi-distant’ resignation letter. He said in his speech that in case the NC members decide to go with the dissident leaders, he is handing over his resignation letter to Gopal Roy from the Party’s all political positions.

He thought that the process of voting by the NC members in his favour, in his presence in the meeting, can cause a mayhem and therefore he decided to leave the meeting after finishing his speech by giving an entirely fake and false excuse, which I have managed to expose through an RTI response of the Govt. of Delhi. Mr. Arvind Kejriwal is heard saying in the last moments of his speech (available on YouTube at 44 minutes 45 seconds) that he has to attend a very ‘Urgent Meeting’ and therefore he will have to leave and thus handed over his ‘soi-disant’ resignation letter to Gopal Ray.

The question emerges which meeting was so urgent and more important than a meeting in which he asked the AAP’s NC members to decide his future and the future of ‘Aam Admi Party’? This needs to be answered that which meeting was more important for Arvind Kejriwal than a meeting at which the eyes of the entire national Media were fixed and for which first time the Police and the ‘Rapid Action Force’ had to be deployed to control any possible untoward happenings? Could there be any more important meeting for Arvind Kejriwal in his political life, in which his and his Party’s political future was being discussed, about which he himself had claimed in his artificially created emotional speech that he had irrigated his Party with his blood?

For the obvious reason, there couldn’t be any more important meeting than this and his excuse that he had some ‘Urgent Meeting’ was totally false, fake and deceitful. He wanted to leave the meeting in between so that the voting of the NC members could be done undemocratically on a boisterous pattern in his absence, and he also wanted to give a free-hand to his loyal coterie with the active assistance of professional bouncers to deal with the dissident leaders in the way they wanted or in all the possible manners they could. This was a completely ill-intentioned move, as exposed through an RTI response of Delhi CM’s office.

My above contentions are supported by an RTI response, which has been furnished to me by the office of the Chief-minister of Delhi upon demand that “There was no scheduled meeting of the Chief Minister in the CM office on 28th March 2015”. The question arises if this so-called ‘Urgent Meeting’ was not scheduled in the CM office, where was it scheduled then?

Arvind Kejriwal

Who was that more important person than Arvind Kejriwal ’s ‘Aam Admi Party’ whom he had to meet so urgently by leaving the NC meeting in its middle?

Or, was it for the reasons I have mentioned above? Mr. Arvind Kejriwal must answer this question as the RTI response of his office creates serious doubt on his claim that he had an ‘Urgent Meeting’ to attend. This becomes particularly important in the light of the fact that when I emailed this RTI response to expelled AAP leaders Prof. Anand Kumar, he was baffled at this revelation. In response to my email, he said “It is so surprising and unexpected. Thank you for revealing a shocking fact dear Rohit ji.”

In response to my email, Prof. Yogendra Yadav wrote, “Thanks Rohit for nailing one more lie. Honestly, there are just so many that I have stopped following. It takes some persons with care and determination like yours bring the entire truth out. There is so much more that needs to be uncovered. But, I have decided put my energies to doing something constructive and positive.”
The issue arises if these expelled leaders themselves are surprised after this RTI response, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal must disclose what and where was this ‘Urgent Meeting’ all about or did he simply leave the meeting after ending his speech in order to give a free hand to the blackshirts of his party with the active assistance of the professional bouncers to deal with the rebel leaders in every autocratic way possible?

In the last, I must mention that I had forwarded this RTI response to all prominent Media houses and almost more than 500 top journalists of the leading English/Hindi Newspapers but no one bothered to give this issue even a corner-space in their newspapers. This becomes particularly observable in the circumstances that these were same Media houses and same top journalists which/who immediately used to give me a call and take details within a fraction of minutes of my email getting delivered in their inbox, if the content of my RTI anyhow pertained to ‘Anti-Modi’ or ‘Anti-B.J.P’ matters.
