CBSE 10th Board Exam 2026 Preparation: How to Score 90% in One Month?

CBSE 10th Board Exam 2026 Preparation in just one month might sound tough, but not impossible. With the right mindset and a smart strategy, one can easily obtain a 90% score in CBSE 10th Board Exam. This one-month duration is very crucial for preparation. It will test your patience. As a CBSE 10th aspirant, you need to stay calm under pressure. Try to avoid distractions as much as possible. Instead of trying to study everything at once, focus on high-weightage chapters. Revise those chapters regularly. Also, never forget to practice through previous year papers and sample tests.

As per CBSE 10th Tentative Date Sheet 2026 the exams will be conducted between February-March 2026. So, if you’re planning to start your final preparation after the release of the final date sheet then go through this blog. A structured study plan to help you stay focused and confident throughout your revision journey.

Week 1: Strengthen Core Subjects

At the initial stage of your final preparation you should focus on all the core subjects like Mathemetics, Science etc. To get more information on weekly preparation you can refer to the section below:

Days 1-3: Mathematics

  • Revise important chapters such as Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
  • Practice from CBSE 10th Sample Papers 2026 and previous year question papers to understand question patterns.
  • Write down and memorize key formulas daily.
  • Use online quizzes or practice worksheets to test your speed and accuracy.

Days 4-5: Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

Break your syllabus into small, manageable parts:
Physics: Laws of Motion, Light, Electricity
Chemistry: Periodic Table, Acids, Bases, Salts
Biology: Life Processes, Human Physiology

  • Solve CBSE Class 10 Science sample papers and mark important diagrams and equations.
  • Revise definitions, reactions, and formulas daily.

Days 6-7: Social Science

  • Social science preparation includes subjects like Economics, Political Science etc. Focus on History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics.
  • Create timelines, map notes, and quick fact charts.
  • Practice from CBSE 10th Question Papers 2026 to get familiar with how questions are framed.

Week 2: Language Subjects & Quick Revisions

This week is important for language practice. To perform better in language section you should refer to the section below

Days 8-10: English

  • Work on grammar, writing formats, and reading comprehension.
  • Revise summaries of literature chapters.
  • Solve sample papers and focus on structuring long answers properly.

Days 11-12: Hindi or Other Languages

Revise grammar rules, essay writing, and letter formats.
Practice time-bound writing exercises to improve speed and handwriting.
Go through sample papers for better exam familiarity.

Days 13-14: Quick Review

Go through everything studied so far.
Highlight topics you’re weak in and create short notes for them.
Prepare flashcards for last-minute revision of formulas, dates, and key points.

Week 3: Intensive Practice & Mock Tests

Now you have two weeks left for the exam. So analysing mock test to assess your accuracy and speed for the exam is an essential step.

Days 15-17: Full Revision of Core Subjects

Revise Maths, Science, and Social Science in depth.
Solve at least two full sample papers per subject under timed conditions.
Review your mistakes and rework weak areas.

Days 18-19: Writing Practice for Languages

For English and Hindi, practice essays, letters, and unseen passages.
Time yourself while writing to improve speed and coherence.
Revise literary devices, figures of speech, and common grammar errors.

Days 20-21: Mock Tests & Time Management

  • Attempt one or two full-length mock exams (all subjects).
  • Analyze your test results and note down improvement areas.

Week 4: Final Revision & Confidence Building

It’s time for final revision. At this stage you need to focus on your weak areas but don’t go for intensive preparation, It may stress you out.

Days 22-23: Focus on Weak Areas

  • Go over chapters you’ve been struggling with.
  • Use short notes or summary sheets to quickly revise tough topics.
  • Practice diagrams and formulas daily to retain them better.

Days 24-26: Subject-Wise Revision

  • Give equal attention to all subjects.
  • Avoid starting any new topic now. Just focus on what you already know.
  • Go through important dates, events, and definitions one more time.

Days 27-28: Rest & Light Revision

  • Revise only through short notes and formula sheets.
  • Check your CBSE Date Sheet 2026 Class 10 carefully to avoid confusion.
  • Sleep well, eat healthy, and stay hydrated.

Days 29-30: Final Preparation

  • Stay calm and positive.
  • Attempt one last CBSE 10th Sample Paper 2026 before the exam.
  • Revise your exam-day plan — how you’ll manage time, attempt sections, and review answers.

  • Stick to your daily study schedule, consistency is the real secret to scoring high.
