A shocking case of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and arms smuggling has emerged from Rampur after a woman survivor came forward with explosive allegations against local clerics. In a viral video, the survivor who now goes by the name Yashoda but was earlier known as Haalima accused clerics of running a decades-old criminal racket under the guise of religion.
Survivor’s Heart-Wrenching Story
Yashoda traced her ordeal back to 1992, when her grandfather was forcibly converted to Islam. What followed, she alleges, was a chilling pattern of murders, rapes, disappearances, and child abuse.
Her grandfather and maternal uncle were allegedly killed for money.
Her aunts went missing under mysterious circumstances.
Her mother was held captive inside the Nadrabag mosque for 14 years and repeatedly raped by clerics.
Her younger sister was brutally beheaded, while another sister — only four years old — was raped.
Yashoda herself endured horrific torture. She says clerics raped her, inserted guns into her private parts, and used knives to damage her uterus.
Her testimony paints a horrifying picture of systematic exploitation hidden behind religious institutions.
“Girls Were Drugged Before Rape”
In an interview with journalist Ajeet Bharti, Yashoda revealed how Hindu girls were deliberately trapped, drugged, and trafficked across state and national borders.
She alleged: “Girls are given mind-numbing medicines, after which they cannot understand what is happening. Even the next day, they don’t realise they have been raped and exploited.”
According to Yashoda, clerics and their associates — including Chintu Imtiyaz Hussain, Asrar, and others — supplied these girls to foreign countries. She named areas like Nainital, Haldwani, Rudrapur, and Nangaliya in Uttarakhand as major hubs where victims remain missing. She also pointed to cross-border links with gangs operating through Nepal.
Weapons Hidden Under Religious Cover
Yashoda made another disturbing claim about the Nadrabag mosque in Rampur. According to her, boxes inside the mosque contained three layers: the Quran placed on top, condoms in the middle, and weapons with ammunition hidden at the bottom.
She alleged that this nexus of clerics was not only running sex and trafficking rackets but also concealing arms under the cover of religion — a revelation that has raised serious questions about the scale of their operations.
Child Trafficking in Badaun
The survivor also detailed how a full-fledged child trafficking network was operating in Badaun. She accused women like Shamseeram (sister of cleric Lateef) and Tahira Begum of abducting children from bus stands and markets.
According to her, their makeup shops doubled as centres for drug distribution and trafficking. She said girls in burqas were used as couriers to deliver drugs — a system that, she alleges, has been running “for years and years.”
Clerics Named in the Network
Among those named by Yashoda are clerics linked to the Nadrabag mosque — Imteyaz, Irfan Haji, Zakir, Sagun, Israr, and others. A viral video circulating on social media showed these clerics with Yashoda’s mother, Islamic books, and hidden weapons, fuelling widespread outrage.
Police Action After Viral Video
For years, Yashoda says she had been going “from pillar to post” for justice, but her pleas were dismissed as a “land dispute.” She alleged that some local journalists helped cover up her case due to the political influence of one of the accused clerics.
However, after her video went viral, Rampur Police finally acted, registering a fresh FIR. One of the clerics named in the testimony has been detained, and authorities say further investigation is underway. Police have also noted similarities with the notorious Chhangur Baba network — infamous for forced conversions, trafficking, sex rackets, and links to foreign funding.
A Systematic Jihad?
Yashoda insists that her story is not an isolated incident but part of a “systematic jihad” targeting Hindus through forced conversions, sexual exploitation, and child trafficking.
Activists and locals are now demanding that central agencies take over the probe, citing the interstate and international dimensions of the racket. Many believe the case exposes a dangerous nexus of clerics, crime, and radicalisation that has been ignored for decades.
As the investigation unfolds, the Rampur case has already triggered anger across the country. For Yashoda, who survived decades of unimaginable horror, her fight is now not just for justice but to ensure that no other girl suffers the same fate.
