Bengaluru is set to witness a grand merging of politics and music on 6th March as BJP MP Tejasvi Surya and renowned Carnatic singer Sivasri Skandaprasad prepare to embark on a new journey together. The wedding reception is going to be held in Bangaluru on 9th March and will blend Kannada and Tamil traditions, reflecting the couple’s cultural roots. Their story began in Chennai, where Surya first heard Sivasri perform at a concert. However, it wasn’t until 2022, during his election campaign, that their connection deepened.
A family source revealed, “Tejasvi attended one of her performances, and from there, their conversations about music evolved into something deeper. They found a shared perspective on life and soon fell in love.”
The couple recently got engaged, marking the union of two distinct yet complementary worlds.
