2014, was the year when the world witnessed an interview that stood out from all other interviews ever conducted on Mother Earth. Yes we are talking about the 2014 interview of Rahul Gandhi with Arnab Goswami.

On Wednesday, October 16th, Kamala Harris participated in her first interview with a media outlet that does not share her ideological views: Fox News. Kamala Harris sat down in an interview with Bret Baier aiming primarily to turn conservative- leaning women on her side who might not have heard much of her message. But the interview went counter-productive for the Vice President who ended up making a laughingstock of herself.
Throughout the interview, the Vice President appeared to dodge nearly every question Bret Baier posed. When asked specific questions, Kamala Harris often responded with answers that seemed tangential or completely unrelated, leaving viewers confused by her responses. Her tendency to veer off-topic gave the impression that she was avoiding addressing the issues directly, which only added to the sense of disconnect between the questions and her answers.
When Bret Baier asked Kamala Harris to estimate how many illegal immigrants her administration had released into the country over the past three and a half years, she sidestepped the question entirely. Rather than providing a direct answer, Harris responded by stating that the United States has a broken immigration system that needs to be repaired.
In the entire interview with Bret, Kamala Harris did not say a single thing regarding herself and her policies but rather took shots upon Donald Trump which went off topic with the questions put forward to her.
Things went from bad to worse for Kamala when Bret Baier pointed out that over 70% of Americans feel the country is heading in the wrong direction. Kamala Harris, however, deflected the responsibility, blaming Donald Trump’s ongoing campaign instead of addressing her own administration’s role. When Baier reminded her that she, not Trump, holds office, Harris responded vaguely, saying, “You and I both know what I’m talking about.” Baier, clearly unsatisfied with her evasiveness, pushed back, saying, “I actually don’t. What are you talking about?” This highlighted Harris’s reluctance to take accountability.

Kamala Harris’s interview with Bret Baier brought Indian viewers back to memories of 2014, with Harris seeming to take Rahul Gandhi’s place and Baier stepping into Arnab Goswami’s role. Like Kamala, Rahul too answered questions that seemed tangential or completely unrelated to the question Arnab put forward to him.
Kamala Harris’s Anti-India stance
While contesting for being the Vice-President in 2020, Kamala Harris in her Democratic National Convention speech suddenly got reminded of her chithis which translates to ‘aunt’ sent which made the Indo-Americans and Indians think that she is one of us and she will do good for them if becomes the vice president. However, once in office, Harris’s actions seemed to tell a different story. She did no good for the Indo-Americans or India but rather used them for political gains. Harris voiced strong opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act, which was aimed at providing refuge to persecuted minorities from neighborhood Islamic countries in India. Additionally, she spoke out against what she described as human rights violations in Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370. To many, these actions suggested that Harris was more interested in leveraging her heritage for political advantage than in standing with the Indo-American community or supporting India on the global stage.
