His agenda includes inaugurating the ONGC Sea Survival Centre, participating in India Energy Week 2024, and unveiling projects in the Viksit Bharat, Viksit Goa 2047 program. This reflects the government’s dedication to holistic progress, spanning maritime preparedness, energy sustainability, and overall development in Goa. The inauguration of the ONGC Sea Survival Centre represents a significant leap in India’s maritime training capabilities, underscoring a commitment to global standards. As the nation eagerly awaits these milestones, each event promises lasting implications for Goa’s future.

ONGC Sea Survival Centre

The ONGC Sea Survival Centre is designed to play a crucial role in enhancing the skills of maritime personnel, providing them with comprehensive training experiences in simulated and controlled harsh weather conditions. It boasts state-of-the-art facilities for comprehensive training in simulated harsh weather conditions, covering sea survival, rescue operations, navigation skills, and emergency response. With an annual capacity to train 10,000-15,000 personnel, the center focuses on enhancing skills in adverse conditions, ensuring a prepared and agile response to real-life maritime emergencies. This practical, hands-on approach increases the likelihood of a safe escape from sea disasters. Beyond benefiting India’s maritime workforce, the center’s advancements position the country as a global leader in maritime safety, contributing to international efforts for a safer maritime environment.
