Meanwhile, in recent interview Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has given a unique reaction to the ban imposed on ‘The Kerala Story’.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui in an interview to News18 mentioned, “If a film or a novel is hurting someone, it is wrong. We don’t make films to hurt the audience or their sentiments.” He also added, “We make films to promote social harmony and love among people. It is our responsibility to make films that connect people. We have to unite this world, not break it.

After the release of “The Kerala Story”, released on 5 May 2023, even though the leftist and fundamentalists in India are trying to dismiss it as propaganda. But in reality, this film is being appreciated even abroad. After watching ‘The Kerala Story’, a journalist from London has also praised this film. Dutch MP Geert Wilders has even requested to show it specifically in the Netherlands.

On a serious note, what exactly has Nawazuddin achieved, to be honest? Truth be told, he is just known for a couple of movies, like “Kahaani”, “Gangs of Wasseypur” and to a lesser extent “The Lunchbox” and “Kick”. But which film, apart from “Gangs of Wasseypur”, did he make a hit, all on his own? Just ask to yourselves once, which film was successful solely because of Nawazuddin.

His “Heropanti 2” came last year only, how was it? Let’s not even talk about “Manto”. Trust me, after seeing Nawazuddin’s performance in “Heropanti 2”, my respect for Vivek Oberoi of “Krrish” and Sanjay Dutt of “KGF” has increased manifold. Now everyone cannot be Manoj Bajpayee or Irrfan Khan, but Nawazuddin doesn’t take any lesson from Pankaj Tripathi, that at least keep the image clean!
