A devotee by the name of Krishnaji Narayan Ping built 8 pillars in 1910. The pillars are in front of the temple and represent the 8 directions. The idol of Lord Ballaleshwar is 3 feet high and looks like the shape of a nearby mountain. He is accompanied by his wife Riddhi and Siddhi on either side.

Place to visit near this Temple

Adishvara Temple

Built in the 1500s, the Adishvara Temple, also known as the Chaumukha Temple, is very popular for its unique architectural style. The temple resembles a heavenly vimana which translates to Nalini Gulam Vimana in Sanskrit.

It is one of the largest temples of Jains whose construction was completed in 65 years. The temple building is of three storeys, 29 halls, 1444 pillars and 80 domes, the innermost part of which is adorned with a four-faced image of Lord Adinath.

Jawai Dam

Seventy years old Jawai Dam on the Jawai River is not only the largest dam in Rajasthan but also one of the most iconic places to visit in Pali. This dam is a quaint one and looks very beautiful due to the hilly background. Apart from the sparse greenery around the dam, the flying migratory birds enhance its overall look. If you are a bird enthusiast then you would love to spot the geese and storks.

Parshuram Mahadev Temple

Parshuram Mahadev Temple is dedicated to Lord Parshuram – the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is one of the most attractive places to visit in Pali Rajasthan on the Aravalli mountain ranges.

It has a remote location and you may have to walk for miles to reach the temple but the journey is a pleasant and fascinating one. In the winding paths of the mountain, you get to see different types of trees and plants and pools filled with water.
