The same is the case with Bollywood’s King Khan. His popularity is immense but not by his acting skills anymore. Bollywood’s Badshah, King Khan, or the king of romance has been alleged of fooling the audience. You will be surprised to know that just like Anu Malik and Pritam made their name in the world of music, Shah Rukh Khan has done the same in acting and is still continuing to do the same.

Singer and music composer Pritam has been charged with plagiarism many a times. According to rumours, all of Pritam’s songs that have achieved success are parodies of other songs. For example, Pritam copied tunes from ‘Thriller’ and ‘American Pie’ for his music.
On the other hand, Anu Malik is also said to have stolen various songs. Several superhit songs are on his lengthy list of copied tracks, including ‘Kaho Na Kaho’, ‘Dil Mera Churaya Kyun’ and ‘Neend Churai Meri Kisne Woh Sanam’ among others.
Similarly, the recently released teaser of film ‘Pathaan’ starring Shahrukh khan is sparking a lot of controversy and accusations of plagiarism. Following the publishing of the teaser, claims surfaced that Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance has been plagiarised from the 1990 superhero movie ‘Darkman’ of Hollywood.
Superhit movies that were an act of plagiarism
Interestingly, it’s not the first time that Shahrukh Khan is under the spectrum of plagiarism. In today’s social media era, where everything is out in the open, no one can fool anyone and those who attempt to deceive others face harsh penalties.
Shahrukh Khan has previously faced numerous accusations of plagiarism. Here are several movie titles that appear to be directly influenced by Hollywood and Bollywood movies.
The first is ‘Bazigar’. The 1993 released movie is said to be a copy of the 1991 released Hollywood film ‘A Kiss Before Dying’.
Second, ‘Koyla’. This film was released on 18 April 1997, and many of its scenes are alleged to be plagiarized from a 1990 Hollywood movie named ‘Revenge’.
Third, ‘Mohabbatein’. The 27 October 2000 released film was also a copied content of 1989 movie ‘Dead Poets Society’.
Fourth, ‘Chak De India’. Interestingly, there are not one, two, or three but various scenes of this movie that are said to be copied from Hollywood movies ‘Miracle on Ice’, ‘Believe in me’, ‘Remember the Titans’, and ‘Miracle.
Fifth, 2007 released ‘Om Shanti Om’. This film was called to have copied scenes from Bollywood itself. Its scenes mirrored earlier released ‘Karz’ and ‘Madhumati’.

Awake audience
Isn’t it funny that the man whose style of open arms often gets recreated by almost every man, has himself copied the story from others? These five pieces of art were a thrill for the audience to watch with their favourite actor Shahrukh Khan. And thus, he received immense popularity and praise through these. But who knew that all of these were copy-paste works?
You can now probably anticipate how Shahrukh Khan became such a big star and how he established such great stardom under such circumstances. His movies used to be hit before people learned about his misdeeds. But in the digital age, the audience cannot be duped. And possibly, for this reason, the public is outright rejecting his content.
